Grow outdoor in NW Oregon for MANY years. Don't use photo's at all any more because the auto's have gotten so much bigger and stronger. When I grow them in the ground in organic compost, I use one of those picnic umbrellas in a buried plastic pipe if it's going to rain and I'm still harvesting. Mostly though, I like very large, plastic tree pots. The large pots give auto's plenty of room for their explosive roots but still allow me to move them. If I'm still harvesting in the fall and rain is coming, I can group them together under a picnic umbrella. Dinafem and several other seed shacks now have some pretty consistent XL autos that grow to about 4 or 5 feet tall. The quality is AMAZING. When I harvest bud colas that are peaking, the lower buds spring into explosive growth. I can keep harvesting them into the fall. One plant is usually a handful of harvests for me and will end up with several ounces of puffable perfection. I'm growing Berry Bomb, AK49, Original Berry, Haze XXL, and too many phenotypes of GSC to ever try again. I's Sept 2nd and I have plenty harvested, dried and curing already.
