Ordering Seeds online from UK to Canada

Hey there. I'm about to start my first grow and I've been looking at seeds. I've been wondering if anyone has had good luck ordering from The Attitude Seedbank. Another place I'm thinking of ordering from is http://www.pickandmixseeds.co.uk/.
I live in Canada and I'm looking at Attitude specifically because of Greenhouse Seeds Souvenir packs. It's either $250 for a 5 seed souvenir pack from the Vancouver Seed Bank or $60-$75 from attitude.

So my questions are:

1: Is attitude seedbank reputable? What about The Pick and Mix Seedbank?
2: Is it safe to import seeds into Canada?
3: For a scrog grow, sativas are best right?

Thanx in advance for answers.

don't know about scrog with sativas or indicas. but i can vouch for attitude seedbank. best place i have ever ordered from. super stealth, super fast and great prices. give them a shot. i live in the us (similar to canada in distance and customs) and they came in six days without a single problem. screw vancouver seed bank and those prices. go with the good prices and good service at the attitude.

do it up, mandingo! :peace:

I was gonna go with attitude to but ended up going with a different company. Reason being is cause the shipping difference was a lot. Heard nothing but good stuff from attitude though thats for sure.

you "can" scrog anything, but the size of the room dictates what is best for you, indicas are shorter and bushier, while sativas are tall and stretchy.

I plan on building a grow box. Dimensions will be 24x24x60 or 32x32x56. I will be using a lumatek 250w digital ballast and a hortilux bulb (maybe).
Grow will be a 5 gallon Hydro DWC using a Hagen Elite 803 air pump (3500 cm³/minute) powering a 5" bubble disc.
Not 100% sure if I will use a 40w 5000k CFL bulb for the first 2 weeks of veg and switch to HPS for the rest. I might get a MH bulb. Need to do some more research before I decide on that.

Regarding the seeds and buying them from Vancouver Seed Bank, I'm just trying to save a little money. Almost bought a blue cheese seed pack from them, but then I saw Attitude and the GHS souvenir packs. Hard to resist that if it's legal to import seeds into Canada.
I already splurged on nutes for the grow.
Bought the following:

(all are Advanced Nutrients)
Sensi Grow + Bloom (1L)
Voodoo Juice (500ml)
Bud Candy (1L)
Carboload (50g)
Big Bud (180g)
Bud Blood (40g)
Grandma Enggys Fulvic (1L)

Hoping to get more than 6oz. from a single plant. Probably going to get more ;-)

Rep'd those that gave me answers.

hey man, just a quick word of advice. i don't grow hydro (so i don't know if it works the same) but that carboload stuff is the exact same thing as blackstrap molasses, but with a bigger price tag. molasses is all natural and you get sweet heavy buds with it. maybe give it a shot next time instead of buying the carboload. make sure you get the unsulfured. :peace:

ps. do a little research to see if works with your system.

Unless you heavily dilute the black strap mollasses with water, I imagine it would clog the airstone. I'll look into it.

Attitude is OK but there are some good places here...
bcseedking.com....
marijuana-seeds-canada.com.. they sell singles and you can mix..

canada pretty safe and in a lot of places "buying " seeds isn't illegal..its the selling & growing where they get pissy...

Indica would be better..IMO.. shorter plants..sativas are tall...

I didn't read all posts sorry if duplicated. Luck.

Well I was just taking a guess based on what I know about molasses. Haven't had time to check into it, but I thought if it was the same as cooking molasses it would clog without being heavily diluted with water.

Wasn't aware of the Canadian version of Pick N Mix (they seem exactly the same). Thanx for letting me know about them.

I'm not that scared about ordering seeds, but having the package caught by customs if imported into the country. I'm not sure how the packages are treated and if you get in trouble for it.

On the indica/sativa topic, I have to admit I prefer sativas. I've smoked for so long that I've developed a tolerance to the regular stuff I can get, so I'm looking at connoisseur quality budz. I smoked some genuine Jamaican Lambsbread the other day and I'd be extremely happy with a strain thats just as strong.

The seeds I'm thinking of purchasing for my DWC are (Feminized):

DNA Sharksbreath
GHS Trainwreck
GHS Super Lemon Haze
GHS Alaskan Ice
RPS OG#18

Let me know what you think.
