Ordering Grow Room Supplies Question!

So i need to get the following.
Off Amazon
ballast
hood
2 fans
filter
2 speed controllers

Off Ebay
Mh Light Bulb

Now see im going to go get a P.O. Box either tomorrow or monday and then all the items including later on my seeds will be too. But my question is. HOW SHOULD I ORDER IT? Should i order it like i would normally and have it sent to my P.O. Box which obviously means the Post Office will be holding my items because they cant fit in the po box. But are any of these things flagged or illegal to purchase? Also i have no hydro stores by me or anything.

Should i just go ahead and order all of them at once like i want to?

How is anyone going to flag a brown box with nothing but return and shipping labels? Does the postmaster and all their minions just "know" that there is grow supplies inside, and that they are going to be used specifically for something illegal?

You'll be fine. People growing vegetables and flowers order this shit all day long. As much as some pot growers would like to think, the indoor gardening industry was not created just for them.

just was wondering before i go spend $750 and then turns out i didnt think it through all the way lol. But ya i didnt think they would worry because it just ventilation and lighting which is used in every kind of building or home

Order them from a reputable shop that offers discreet packaging. Good grow shops will ship in black or non-descript boxes and have generic sounding names for their return address. Nothing like getting a box with a cartoon skunk leaning on the words "CARBON FILTER" written in huge black letters. And its from "Indoor Growers Warehouse" or something.

And a P.O Box does nothing to protect you and IME is even more sketchy.

I get all my stuff sent to me in threw USPS, FedEx, and UPS. There is nothing to worry about. If ordering off Amazon. Read the product feedback for the item. People will tell you if it was shipped discreetly or not. If you do not see any feedback about not being shipped discreetly then order away. and Some posts say they do. As long as it shipped discreetly. You have no reason to worry. I have no shops around me either. Even if I did I think I would feel better ordering online anyways from people I dont know rather then a shop that know who you are. That way everything isnt in one jurisdiction. Seems safer to me to order online then buy where you can be seen buying. If you are buying for a illegal activity anyways. If your growing tomatoes. Let the cops come.

Would be funny as hell to get raided to only find tomato plants growing in your house.

And i dont have anywhere to have my items sent so ima just go with amazon and pray to god they dont have any dumbass names on the box.

I have never had any trouble with mail order, the only exception was a few years ago when I ordered some stuff from Spain, had it sent to a friends house and he reported a police helicopter flying overhead on a daily basis for a few weeks whether or not this was connected to my purchase I don't know, but never had any trouble ordering off Amazon, Fee Bay or grow shops.

Have to say I would love to see the look on the cops faces when they first saw there was no grow going on in there. That is funny.

If you dont mind me askin what was the item you purchased that would have made them fly over the area.

IR needs a warrant to be used against you. They are not allowed to search heat signatures without one. and now it is only a suspected house they aren't suppose to look at your neighbors house even if they wanted to. But we all know they do anyways. And i doubt they actually get a warrant to use these unless they think you are a grower. I am setting up a new area in my attic so if they ever fly over here they are going to get some kind of heat signature that is for sure. I was thinking about getting some of the IR Block and lining my ceiling of the attic before I insulate it. Problem is iss I believe that would cost me a pretty penny as the entire attic is like 40 x 20 or something like that.

I think they should just leave us little guys alone.

Unfortunately in the UK they can IR properties without a warrant the bastards are now going around in cars with hand held IR units pointing them at properties I think that the electricity companies are in collusion with them as more and more people are getting busted in my area there seems to be one or two cases every week in the local paper just recently all small grows you would think they would have something better to do. I bought a grow tent (couldn't get the make and size I wanted in the UK and no one would do a special order) and also a selection of seeds when the parcel arrived it looked as if it might have been tampered with, buying and owning seeds is legal in the UK germinating them and growing isn't. I wouldn't put it past them to let it through in the hope they could catch me that seems to be their mentality saying that I have bought other seeds from Spain with no problems at all. So it was probably coincidence never had it fly over my place as am in a remote area.

Just wondering if she had a major grow on and used the guinea pigs as a decoy, maybe they should make a program like the Worlds Dumbest Criminals and call it the Worlds Dumbest Cops

Ya I was talking about here in the US. I know its hard to find places that sell and ships to the UK. If you buy online some ebay and amazon sellers will. Always good if you need something imported. I know I get a load of orders that I have to ship over seas. And for some reason you people over there pay a load in shipping.

If i lived where you did IR Block would definitively be needed either that or I would build my room dead center the house. You do know IR doesn't penetrate walls. So its only seeing the outside temp of the house and what is radiating from the room s behind the outter walls. Keep it centered and there would be not problems. Unless your 1 story and have shitty insulation in the ceiling or roof. And yes I know alot about IR. I was Search and Rescue in the Local fire department. I was trained to use IR and how it works. If you keep it out of there range they wont see it. Even if your venting outside the house. Could be a water heater, propane burner, or other fossil fuel burning goodies.

So ive opened a po box today and ordered all myshit for subcools soil off amazon. Now the question is should i space out my orders since i got another 8 items or so to order off amazon but i dont want it to be suspicious or get me uber red flagged but on the other hand im dying here with the funds to pay for it but dunno if i should be ordering like 20 items at once????????????

Dont get that shit shipped to a po box it looks more suspicious to use a po box, i dont get why you're so paranoid about the mail, even if they dont use discreet shipping chances are the only one who will notice the box is the one who drops it off at your house and they quiet frankly won't give a shit as they're not getting paid enough to care.

Specific IR screening is not needed regular mylar and other reflective/ heat insulating materials can work
It's the air gaps between several "layers" of these materials that does the trick

I just told someone else this. Instead of getting a PO Box go to your local UPS store and sign up for a mailbox. You get an actual street address and can have anything shipped there. They sign for your packages and you can go get them whenever. You usually get your shit earlier in the day too because UPS and FedEx like to service commercial locations especially their own before residential.
