This is a fox farms soil grow. I believe I over fed with down to earth.
(
1/15 5 tablespoons
1/19 water
1/22 water
1/27 water 5 tablespoons
)
I fed 5 tablespoons at one week and 5 days. I’m supposed to feed every two weeks, but u guess I fed to early. Maybe it’s underfed I don’t know.
5 gallon pot. I’m afraid it could be ready but the buds aren’t big and the calyxes aren’t swollen. Please let me know your thoughts. Should I harvest? Most of the pistols are orange.

I use Dr. Earth @ 2 tbls per gallon of soil so in a 5 gallon pot I'd use 10 tbls every 14 days. Whatever is going on isn't from over feeding. When did you flip? How often do you water and how much? Any idea what the ph is of the water you're using?

Unfortunately I didn’t document when I first saw the burn  I think it was 1/27 with only the top bud showing burn. It started spreading so 2/3 I flushed. I have another one that didn’t do this and I only fed 4 tablespoons. They are in cloth pots so I was trying a tablespoon less that one.

I get that they recommend 1 tbls per gallon, I'm just letting you know I run double that with zero nute burn. Ocean Forrest can be a hot soil so depending on how fresh the soil was I guess it's possible they were burned from too much food. How many weeks are you from 12/12 flip?

Flipped on 12/15 happy frog soil. The soil nutes were most likely used up way before the burn. Are you able to tell the calyxes aren’t swollen?

Which DTE product are you using?

I wouldn't expect them to be after 8 and a half weeks from flip for most strains. I can't see on my phone very clearly when I zoom in but I'd be more worried about bud rot from the dead leaves in the colas rotting. I'd keep trimming anything dead and look for signs of rot in the thickest colas. As long as you can keep it going green I'd let it go a little longer.

Ya, that things pretty fried. It's not gonna be as good as it could've been. There's nothing you can do really but try to let it ripen as much as it will. But if it gets too bad it's gonna just get worse. It looks like some of those other plants don't look as bad.

Yeah I have one other I did the same thing too. I mean I would feed only a couple days early so I’m confused as to how they got fried. Other 4 are ok

So that’s normal procedure to just remove them? That’s going to be a lot of Leaves.

Anything dead and starting to turn necrotic should be removed from the bud. If it's just yellow that's fine but dead tissue in a dense cola can cause bud rot. Then once it's established it's spread by airborne particles and can really do damage. Your humidity and airflow are big factors in preventing it but the only times I've seen it is when big colas have dying sugar leaves or stems in them. I like to let my plants go until they are probably too ripe for some but the true terpenes seem to really develop in the last few weeks for me.

Did you say you've been using the DTE 4-8-4 too?

Light burn? The leaves underneath not getting any light look relatively good to me from what I'm looking at. Has the plant stopped drinking water at all? I can't really comment on the nute lockout because I don't have any clue what a good feeding schedule is or isn't for soil. I would bump up the ph a bit and see if the plant starts taking up more water. If it starts gowing again then fine let it go. If you had to take those buds right now I think they are plenty far along to get you stoned to the bone. Plants hit peak potency a lot sooner than most people think.

They all got fed the same amount? Some plants don't eat as much but that's pretty extreme if others look fine.
The other plant the same strain
What’s odd is it looks like I gave this plant a shit ton of nutes around 12/17 unless I made a mistake documenting. It’s not burned either

12/17 watered 3 tablespoons
12/23 water 2 tablespoons
12/28 water 2 tablespoons
1/1 3 tablespoons
1/6 just water no fert
1/10 water no fert
1/13 water 4 tablespoons
1/15 water
1/19 water
1/22 water
1/27 4 tablespoons need to do 4 days
1/31 water
2/3 water
2/7 water
2/11 4 tablespoons water

Light is pretty far. I did the light according to manufacture, but I have it on 80% at 15” I believe. It’s a Gro planner 150w. Yeah I think the trichs are orange so I have no doubt they’ll do the job.

Oh shit wait a minute. Are you adding it to water and then watering the plants? Do you mix it fresh for each pot or make a big batch and then use that to water all the plants? If that's what's happening it all makes sense.
