Orange pistils

Hello forum. I know there is not an exact answer to this question but any help is appreciated. If one is looking for more quantity over quality, when is an ok time to harvest? That is, what ratio of orange/white pistils will tell you when the buds have stopped acquiring mass? Harvesting without looking at trichs is bad, but if it does not matter if the buds are mature, when can I tell that they have stopped growing?

Thanks in advance for any help.

looking at the trichromes is a good way to tell if it's mature....there are other indications to consider such as the red hairs and the swelling of the buds...lots of good info in the harvest & cure section

Don't rush the time frame... there is no way to tell from color of the hairs, and color of hairs has nothing to do with when your plant will be done...
Hairs are NOT Tric's...
Get a mag loop an look good at your bud, not just the hairs on bud...
The shiney clear sparkles on leaves near bud top, are clear tric's...
When plant becomes more dull in looks the Tric's have become more milky/cloudy wait...wait...
when you have just a few clear tric's, 90% milky/cloudy, and the first sign of amber tric's you harvest...
Clear Tric's no buzz... Milky/cloudy = buzz... Amber Tric's loosing buzz...
Good luck man....

Depending on the strain, some don't change all the hair color, and if she's still growing, one day you might look and see almost all red hairs, then the next day see more white.
