Hi fellow growers, Im back for another run (keeping my grows to just once a year for personal use). I have been absent from this site for some months now.
I was searching through these forums for someone who has grown or smoked Dutch passions new Orange hill special strain but couldn't find any posts so I decided to put my own grow diary up as it might possibly help someone, so here goes.

SET UP :

1 self made grow cupboard
3 x purple kush & 2 x orange hill specials
1 x Sunmaster 600w digital ballast

I grow in soil always. Planted 5 seeds and 5 germinated. I actually wanted to germ only 4 seeds but I thought one of them wasn't going to pop so I planted a 5th one. After popping I kept them under a 250w hps bulb for a week or so before changing over to my 400w metal halide. I love this Sunmaster ballast, its the only one on the market so far that dims down to 250w and you also get a super lumen option for finishing them off.

Veg day 13.jpg Here they are at 13 days of veg. The two OHS are on the right and the rest are the purple kushes.

day 13 lights on.jpg The OHS are quite vigorous in growth while the purple kushes are slower starters.

I vegged these babies for 4 weeks before switching to 12/12. I usually don't get any smells from my grows before switching to flower but these girls are really ponging even at just 4 weeks of veg ! Have to invest in some odour control I think.

Im keeping the nutes regime pretty light and simple. I didn't feed them any nutes for the first 4 weeks except for some light foliar spraying, and Im only going to be using bat guano for the rest of the grow.

So people if you have the patience to drop in from time to time over the next 8 weeks or so I will be keeping you updated periodically. As all you growers know if there is one thing you need for growing its patience. Bye for now.
