Optimum ventilation

I am planning to build a grow room measuring 10 foot X 4 foot X 8 foot and I was wondering how you calculate what size extractor fan you need to replace the air every three minutes. Also if I was to buy a fan to intake air would I need the same size fan again or a smaller one.

10 foot X 4 foot X 8 foot = 320cuft(cubic feet)

320cuft/3mins = 107cfm(cubic feet per minute)


what lights are you using?

I haven’t decided which lights I will be using yet. Can't decided between coil and digi. What’s your opinion on the two?

Either way I will be using 2 x 600w lights, will removing the air every three minutes be enough to keep the temperature stable or should I get a more powerful extractor fan?
