I was looking to get some input about LST and or topping. I am planning to veg indoors under CFL's and the move outside when ready. What I would like to know is when to start the training and or topping. Also has anyone done this prior to transplanting outside.

Why would you want to lst or top/fim them if you're going to be moving them outside? Also not all plants like being topped or fim'd - best to experiment with the same strain and see how it reacts to it.

i AM CURRENTLY LOOKING UP THE TECHNIQUE OF LST(LOW STRESS TRAINING) BUT I BELEIVE THAT YOU START AS SOON AS THEIR STRONG THE SOONER THE BETTER BUT GRADUALLY PIN THEM DOWN SO YOU WONT SNAP OR PINCH OFF STEM!

BUT LIKE I SAID I AM CURRENTLY LOOKING IT UP MYSELF SO DON'T TOTALLY RELY ON MY INFO!

Thanks for all the replys... I was curious about it because I read somewhere that it increases the yeild.? But by you asking me that makes me think that these techniques are only good for indoor growing?
