Opinions on organic vs soilless

Kind Sir

Well-Known Member
I am about to cut my second harvest down, my first one went great but I am still very new.

My situation: I was doing a lot of research on making a stellar supersoil, making a worm farm and going organic. I like the idea of teas, the worm bin and the whole microbial process. Not just measuring synthetics.

I see alot of people who also love soilless, coco.. My knowledge iz organics will have better taste, but soilless will have better yields. Yet they both have same potency comparatively speaking, or know?
Just want a little personal knowledge before I dump money into organics.

Thanks everyone.

Organics are cheap my friend. Do some research before spending money on "suoersoil". There are tons of different soil mixes. I personally run Coco in one section and organic no-till in another. So I have experience with both. Still a bit new to organics though. Organics can be very cheap. This is from another person - $ 15 Malted barley (2.5 pounds; 4 oz/cup)
- $ 22 Coconut Water Powder (1/2 # = 75 gal @ 1/4 c. per gal.)
- $ 22 200x aloe powder
- $ 26 Fulpower (quart)
- $ 14.20 Agsil (pound)
- $ 13 TM7 (100 gm bag)
- $ 13 Neem/karanja (2.5 # = 5-6 cups)
- $ 14.06 Kelp meal (3# = 6 cups)
You would start with a base of 1/3 Sphagnum peat moss 1/3 compost/vermicompost and 1/3 aeration. Feel free to ask more questions if you want further details.
