Opinions on light times [Help] :D

Hi RIU community,

Just after some opinions on lighting times/Ratios for my auto-flowering strains. I currently have a couple seedlings only a few days old, I have been doing 24 hours lighting as I heard 24 hour lighting works well with Auto-Flowering strains. Is this true or should I give them some sleep?

true autos will yield most under 24/0.

I prefer 20/4.

I give them a bit night as well (2 hours) so 22/2

Where did you get that idea? In every test I have seen the 18/6 has either done better or the same as a 24/0.

I am even surprised that the cannabis plants survive 24/0 , a plant has different processes during day and night time.

I rate you need a dark period, I run auto's under 20/4 from start to finish.

I semi believe most plants if not all need a dark period, so I'm thinking I'll switch up from 24/0 to 22/2 - 20/4.

I get that auto yield more under 24/0 better because its more light and grows more under 24 hours of light.

might not be alot but they do. I think it is a 5% increase in yield.

most people run 18/6 in veg for power savings. Cannabis only needs dark to flower. Autos cut out the need for a dark period.

cannabis is a c3 plant. Search for what that means.

with that being said, I run 20/4 because of heat issues and power savings. Good luck.

Ps. I just got my vape pen so I am baked.
