Opinions on Attitude Seeds?

So I have read a lot of good about Attitude, but I wanted to hear your guys' opinion on them? I live on the East Coast, Ordered last night, already shipped out today. My first grow ever I harvested two weeks ago, was grown under 5 CFL's, and got around a half. Luckily, everything went perfect. Drying, curing, and smoking :D. So knowing what to do and how to do it is great.

Has anyone grown what I ordered? Just curious, and in hopes that I'll hear good both about the company as well as the plants :D.

I ordered:

Product: Female Seeds White Widow x Big Bud
Options: Feminized Seeds Per Pack - 04 seeds

And I know freebies came along as well, but hope to hear from you guys :D. Thank you :D.

^^Won't be using CFL's of course, getting a 400W HPS next week. Opinions on how many should grow under it? My space is only 1ft 11in wide and 3 ft 9 in long.

i order beans a lot, and have used the attitude quite often and have never really had an issue.. also on the east coast.. :)

not familiar with those strains you picked though.. :( the big bud in it should make it yield pretty big, although bb is known for not being the most potent bud out there, but maybe the ww it's x'ed with will help with that aspect..

g/l with the grow m8..

there is varying opinions on how best to use your space m8.. some people like to grow more smaller sized plants in what is known as a sog, or sea of green, set up, and some people like to grow fewer plants, and grow them as big as they can.. it's really six of one, half dozen of the other honestly and it just depends on how you like to grow...
i'd say though in that size space you maybe able to fit 2 or 3 plants in it comfortably.. probably more like 2 though..

Thank you very much Racer :D. I am really excited that I get to grow an actual strain, rather than a random seed. And rather than being a little two foot plant with a half ounce yield, it will be much more :D. I ordered from Attitude just using international and getting the tin with it. Is it alright that I didn't go with a shirt or mug? Just don't want anything bad to happen >.<.

yah, the tins are nice as you don't have to worry about them getting crushed during shipping.. not that i've ever had that happen to begin with, but it is nice to not have to worry for sure..
and hell yah, you'll be blown away between the difference between the cfl's and a 400 watt hid for sure... keep those old cfl's though, i use them for my seedlings till i think that they are big enough to go under the hid's, usually about 2 weeks or so from seeds ime..
and you can also use the cfls to put around the sides or bottoms of the plants, where ever it looks like the plants need some extra lighting..

did you already get the new light system?? and if so, what did you go with ??

Have you ordered with just using a tin and no merchandise? Probably doesn't make a difference, does it xD? I have all of the CFL's still, and you are right those seedlings probably won't be able to stand that high powered light until they are passed seedlings. I haven't bought the light yet. There is a store about 30 minutes away from here called "Hydro Gardens and Lights", and I stopped in there a few months ago. Didn't pick a light up then due to financial issues, but luckily next week I will be able to :D. Honestly I just want a 400 Watt HPS Lamp, seeing it's not too large it probably won't bump my electric bill up too much. If medicinal marijuana would be legalized here already, I wouldn't have to worry about raised/noticeable electric bills and all >.

yah, i have used the tin method once or twice.. no problems at all..

and yah, a 400 watter will only raise your bill around $2o / $3o a month..

it's pretty easy to figure out exactly how much though... if you look at your bill, find how much you pay per kw/ hour, or killowatt per hour.. this is how they charge you per unit..

in our lil example i'll use to show you how to figure it out, i'll just use $.10 per kw/h just because it makes life easier, lol... but this is the equation to use to figure it out, just plug in your own numbers when you figure them out by looking on the bill to get your exact price..

for veg if you run the light 18 hours a day, you simply go like this... 18 x 30, for 30 days in the month, or the days in a billing period.. 18 x 30 equals...540.. than you times the 540 x .4 because a 400 watt lamp is only .4 killowatts, or one thousand watts... so now we have 540 x .4 and we get....216.. then we simply times this per cost of kw/h.. in our ex i said we pay $.10 kw/h, so we just x's the 216 x $.10, so it would look like this.. 216 x .10 and it would come out to $21.60 per month with the lamp running 18 hours a day..

to figure out how much it would cost to run it during flowering with only 12 hours of light a day, simply change the 18 to a 12 and do the equation again..
hope that helps some m8... :)

I've read mixed opinions on MH and HPS lights. Should an MH be used during vegging, and an HPS during flowering? Or can an HPS be used the entire time? Thank you :D

Though I am probably getting annoying, Ive never used a light system like this. What is the recommended height of such a powerful light above the plants? Sorry for too many questions xD. Thanks again ^_^

I always use the tins. Not that anything was ever crushed, I just like the extra protection. I've actually gotten them plenty of times with nothing, just seeds thrown in an envelope, and there was no issue.

I really like those tins. Good for plenty of things.

yah, you can use w/e bulb you want honestly.. yah, mh's are usually used for veg and hps for flowering, but plenty of people use either one or the other for the entire grow and have good results...
if you get a digital ballast though, they can run both mh's and hps bulbs using the same ballast, a very nice feature of digital ballasts and i love it..
other wise you would have to get and use what are called conversion bulbs, which allows you to use a mh bulb in a ballast made for hps bulbs or vice versa..

The site says they repack them, which is why I don't order that way. Like you, I want the original breeders packs. I always order with the coffee mug - they tuck the breeders packs into the mug, and the mug is well-packaged. One time I got a broken handle, but that's it. It sure protects them from crushing.

Every breeder pack I've ever received fit in it no problem. I guess it would depend on the size and style of the breeder pack though.

A lot of breeders use little vials anymore, but I like to get the tin anyway for any freebies or single seeds I get. They make good stash boxes too. I've actually looked online to see if I buy some I have plenty of things I can use them for. Found ones similar but none with the airtight rubber seal.

My super lemon haze breeder packs fit right in the tin with minor bending..I was skeptical ordering but read through pages of threads and while you'll always have both positive and negative comments I thought the positive side was higher. East coast too and arrived in around 2 wks after a promo. Can say I am very pleased as a first time customer..

I used a 400 watt hps this entire grow, no problems... other than the plants have to be kinda broken into the light. They will literally roast seedlings at almost any height. So wait until 1-2 weeks old and they will just explode from a real light. Attitude rocks, I got the shirt package (to ensure I would get my package) and the shirt was actually a really cool shirt. Would have easily paid 15$ but paid like 6$ for it. I got the seeds in about 5-7 days which is really quick. Central-midwest
