Hi there, long time ago i was started to think about growing but my previous job and of course money did not allowed me to realize all my ideas. After spending many hours and researching for equipment here is what i am going to use for my first room:

600 Watt Dimlux Expert Series Complete Light System
CO2 Generator and Controler
Opticlimate air condition system
switching board
in and out ventilation system
feeding comp
Orca Folie
Autopot watering system

My question are:
how many lamps i need for my room?
how many plants is optimal for this room size?
Doing my research on internet i could not find exact number. some say 35, some say up to 50

Thanks a lot for all your answers and suggestions

Hope u got your electrical figured out..I know a 1000w usually does a 4x4 area so I'm guessing a 600 for a 3x3.

Hope to see pics..I just started 15 plants in my 7x7 room for my first grow lol .2 1ks..but I need to get an ac before I turn other one on

If you get the wide hoods you can space the 600s to cover a 4x4 footprint.. I run four 1000s in a 8x8 room with air cooled hoods. Your gonna wanna run at least 12 to 14 lights.

28 1000w lights will give you just under 50 watts /sq ft. IDK if that's even relevant in a grow that size?? I'd look into DE lighting for something like that, it seems to be the way to go in a large/commercial type setup. From what I've read, you can get away with less DE lights because they give better coverage when used in a multi light setup. I was looking at Gavitas, but they weren't optimal for my low heigt small grow.

i would advise to just use the 1-600w to get the hang of growing first. hold off on using the co2, auto system n maybe ac while you learn. only reason i advise this is to keep you from spending a lot on electric if you don't pick up growing right away. good luck! wish i had that room.
