opinions and recommendations for hazes i'm looking to try

i'm trying to get my shit back together and pull another grow off, and wanted to try some hazes that might be better than my current favorite dirt cheap "power hitter" high quality seeds haze x skunk which i'll be using as one of my males along with a jack's cleaner 2. i love DNA sweet haze and mandala's 8 miles high but those are out of stock along with the holy smokes' malawi gold that proved VERY promising in early flower when mine got light burned.

the candidates i'm looking into are all reasonably cheap fems that would offer some different genes to haze skunk
NL5 haze - female seeds (because they have a decent rep from what i've seen and it's a 14 week strain, and NL haze always gets raves)
panama red - ace seeds (a pure saliva that's been recommended to me at least a dozen times)
C13 haze - DNA genetics (i've loved everything of theirs i've tried, and that's their haziest strain. i might still have a martian mean green, but pure C13 haze sounds better)
25% NL5 columbian gold - world of seeds (nothing has ever been as triply as the pure gold i used to smoke and nothing has offered the light floaty feeling either. i started one that was looking really good before i was forced to give it away last winter

there are other similar crosses out there, but they're either expensive, or from newer breeders i haven't seen feedback on yet. those 4 look like good candidates and i imagine the C13 and panama red are really good based on my experience with DNA and another member's love of panama. the other two are just cheap "let's see what happens" candidates, but if anyone has any suggestions for other indoor doable gear, i'd like to hear it. ultimately, i'd like to give mekong haze a try as that's supposed to be really trippy, and ace's old-timer's haze x grape krush sounds like a perfect "purple haze 2.0" combo if expensive to achieve. right now, i'm just trying to get some head stash and new breeders started trying to recover from my last trifled with grow. i'm about sick of people fucking with my personal space.

I know you're a sativa lover...

I would go with ace or Cannabiogen...these guys work there lines really well. I loved Golden Tiger and heard good things about their Panama line.

I've also had great luck with SnowHighs panama black.

I'm just getting my haze run underway...

Nevilles haze
Bangi haze
Purple Colombian haze
Cuban Black haze x A5 haze

While Bodhis plants may not be for everyone, I can't knock him based off the five strains I've grown. serious vigor and outta this world frost. Really strong and great genetics. seriously starting to horde his beans as once some are gone, they are gone.

Edit;: you would be amiss not to grab those beans if you want a malawi

i already bought holy smokes' malawi gold because it was not only reasonably cheap... i think it was only $35 at the time, but because i also got 2 each freebies of more malawi, mozambique poison (similar tasting to durban) and some other gold strain i can't remember the name of, and might even have some viable malawi x cindy apollo beans set aside. the HS version was WAY more co-operative than uppity highland thai which took forever to flip, kept bitching about being root bound, even in a 2 gallon pot still not showing sex, and when it did, was a hermit i had enough with and cut down.

i've heard good things about tom hill before. i'll have to check huis gear out if he's at attitude, but i don't think he is.

i'm really looking for fems in the $15 or under range as $30 haze x skunk is more than satisfying enough for me, but am looking to try something more refined, especially mores than HS' unappealing cigar wrapper with hints of ashtray flavor i still say is the result of my landlord tampering with my plants like all of my favorite crosses having issues and 2 out of 2 barney's farm laughing buddhas not sprouting with the second one snapping at the stem like i've never seen any plant pushing out of a pellet do.

i had considered cannabiogen's destroyer, but i don't like the $20 premium or the name. i'm not too impressed with thais either as the highland i tried was such a fussy bitch, HQS' thai skunk wasn't as impressive as their skunk cross and was more like a generic fruity haze that DNA's sweet haze spanked and some other thai hybrid i tried wasn't that special either. some day, i want to try highland thai again when i have something fast and fruity to cross with it to try and preserve that special AUTHENTIC tutti fruity flavor, but want to try other strains before getting back to thais.

i wanted to try some breeder's critical haze because it's supposed to be a cross with an extra trippy haze called JYD that i'm guessing stands for "junk yard dog", and it's under $8, but sold out.

i was also looking at world of seeds' pure african sativas like kwazulu and kilimanjaro, but they don't mention psychoactivity in their descriptions and couldn't find any smoke reports for them.

some day, i REALLY want to splurge on "old timer's haze" for it's purple color and blackberry liquor flavor and cross it with DJ shorts' grape krush for a grape flavored "purple haze" as that's been my top goal after getting really grapey notes out of short stuff's super cali-haze when i grew it under halide like any strain should be grown if you're looking for quality over quantity, especially with tropical sativas.

i'm also interested in sweet and sour bright orange bhutanese thimpu for a cross with some kind of cali-o like TGA sub cool's agent orange for an orange haze, and if i could work a spicy pepper sativa like ORIGINAL extinct kali mist into the flavor, wanted to make an orange curry.

also keen on mixing panama red with sour cherry buddha's sister if that lives up to it's raves and strawberry flavor description. a sweet cherry haze with red hairs would be a nice "cherry bomb 3.0" as that name's already been used for both an indica and dr green genes' sativa.

hey thanks for the feedback everyone and for going against the cash crapper flow and trying to bring the love back despite all of the forces that be trying to stop that like every fucking neighbor i've had for over a decade and the troll haters in here

While I've never grown Cannabiogen/ACE, just check out a few grow logs... they are legit (on my buy list). I wouldn't be hung up on a names, its all about what comes out of that ceed. Plus I hardly think the cost should be an issue, especially for excellent genetics. I'd get over that otherwise you are imposing self limiting, silly in my opinion rules.

Plus ya ignored my recommendation, that shit is straight Malawi and I don't think you'll find better

You missed out on metal dragon from snowhigh. It was a metal haze crossed with a burmese sativa. Super limited run and by the time i got an answer from snow they were all gone. Id love to get some beans or a cut or it.

i saw snow high's gear in haze results, but they're one of many new breeders i'm not in a hurry to gamble on unless they toss some UFOs, but FUCK, metal haze x burmese sounds like a crazy good fucking strain to try! metal haze got lots of respect in one of the cannabibles and burmese (vancouver island seed "schwag") was one of the first strains i ever bought even if my $70 was wasted on 10 non-starting mutants. burmese and durban are two of the smallest "pure sativas" but they both look hybrid to me, and burmese's lemony flavor was what i wanted to cross with a lemon phono malawi gold back when afropips was still alive.

i'll try and look the metal dragon up to see if anyone's reporting on it. if it gets raves, i'll put them in my shopping list. a lot of breeders' gear is mediocre at best from what i've tested so far with so called hazes being watered down compared to the reputation of haze brothers' original and my own experience with extra visual columbian gold.

hey, there's plenty of good gear out there. you want a good haze, just get high quality seeds' haze x skunk for $30 man! that shit is super potent, reasonably psychoactive, and unlike gold, after smoking it all day for a month, still never got stony! it's not the most refined strain, but isn't harsh or expansive with reasonable sized hits, gets the job done, and is a bargain at that price. it's also a perfect strain to SCROG as it makes a bud every couple of inches! you flatten that wench out, and you'll be getting a shitload of colas. i wish someone would try that strain and report back on it. someone would have to be a spoiled ass so-cal smoker used to dozens of outdoor hazes to turn their nose down to haze skunk. for what it does, it's every bit as good as gold and more potent and sticky at that, but just doesn't have that fun floaty effect nothing i've ever smoked BUT gold has, but there's a strain you'd have to take a week's vacation form every 3 weeks or so to get the stone out of your system where HS leaves you waking up with a permabuzz.

Ace's Panama is good, but runs 12+ weeks and gets big.
You should try running Satori from Mandala in a fairly light organic soil, watering only with distilled/dechlorinated water and an occaisional light flowering booster once bud production is mostly underway.
There is a slightly-more-indica pheno in Satori, but it seems to pop up less than once a pack. The rest are extremely heady sativas.
Hand-watering a small amount of plants in coco/perlite and well drained containers. Might also be a good option to try, but they will require constant light feeding.
Mandala's strains are very easy to grow as long as you don't push them too hard.
Tropical sativas also prefer extremely bright lights in order to not go all squirrely on you, which might be another reason to explore the more subtropical sativas such as Satori.

yeah... i REALLY want to try gage's columbians. he likes black better and calls it a smoother smoke, but admits gold is trapper. i really would like to try his señor jack as that's a cross of my two favorite strains. i'm not getting satori as it's out of my price range as it's only available in packs, and i'm looking for single fems. i'm already splurging on a 5 pack of jack's cleaner 2, and don't want to get too crazy on dollar amounts. a lot of the strains i WOULD grow are just too expensive, but i already love mandala's 8 miles high. it was the first true high i got out of anything i grew to bud at least. i liked C99, but it's clear headed racy buzz wasn't as fun as 8 miles' psychoactivity.

as to light penetration & stretch, that's not an issue as i'm going to be using saliva friendly fuller spectrum halides that they prefer, probably an 11.5/12.5 light cycle, and will probably always SCROG from now on for better penetration and budding. i plan to let my gals go nuts all over their screens and imagine i'm going to have to do a lot of fancy weaving to fill empty spaces, but i love working plants and like to twist stems for better circulation once they repair themselves. SCROG is really the only way to go with saliva dominants. i really wish i'd done that with my 12 week haze skunk. the top cola was stronger than the lower growth, and that strain makes a ton of buds. if they all thought they were tops and getting more light? mmmmmmmmmm!

i'm keen to test a panama fem because it's only a 12 week strain, and as i've said elsewhere, some day i want to breed that with sour cherry buddha's sister for a cherry bomb 3.0, though i'd come up with a different name so as not to be confused with the 2 others i know of.

i'm just not a fan of the name satori either. i have issues. otherwise, i'd have tried jack the ripper instead of cleaner 2 and gotten killing fields instead of jack f7.

dont let names push u away. its the parents that matter. i want all 3 of those gage offerings as well and will get em soon if i can. it makes sense to me to at least run sativas under halides for a month or 5 6 weeks then switch to hps. me personally i would grow under both and see which is better....like i did with ace of spades. def shorter and lil more flav. im still testing tho...

it's a spirituality thing for me. some people would be averse to growing a strain named "your momma is a whore" for example. i do not like the glorification of violence, particularly when i have a violent side of my own that i'm not proud of and try to keep to myself as much as possible to suppress as well as get high for the same reasons. i don't want to glorify violence or global warming, so diesels are offensive to me too besides simply tasting disgusting in the two i've tried so far even though onyx does have a really bitchin' touchy feely high, but licking truck stop tarmac is an abomination to me.

hey, i've got issues. i know this. LOL

person preference for flavors is one thing, but to let a name control your choices, dont cut your own throat! people rename strains all the time, you couldve smoked "your momma was a whore" last week with a friend n never knew lol and liked it at that...lol if " your mommas a whore" is a colombian x oaxacan , dont call its yo momma, call it a mexican colombian...know what i mean? lol

Spoken for truth. Sounds like someone needs some therapy. Its not the name that counts but what comes from the ceed.

Kingdom Organics Seeds-Iron Cindy
Indoor
F1 hybrid cross of Cinderella 99 male x Metal Haze.
This is a poor mans’ Haze for sure with a relatively fast 9 week flowering time indoors. Most real Haze will flower for ever. The Metal Haze female used in this cross dominates this hybrid for sure, and lends a true spacey side with some extra intensity potency wise. The Iron Cindy delivers a very close version of a true Haze high at only 9 weeks, which rocks if you ask me or Greenman420. He and I both agree that we like the Iron Cindy even more than the straight up Metal Haze. Get them while they last mi amigos.

SPECIAL GROWING INSTRUCTIONS: Extremely stinky, growing, drying, curing, and carrying. Very Haze-like, with that “cat piss” side to the smells; flavours are spot on Haze. Make sure and cure this one for at least two weeks after drying for the most superb version of her flavours, smells, and potency.
