I'm glad it's working out for you, I have never ran a badass ballast by what I seen using there bulbs once when I was changing out my hortilux redeye bulbs when my local grow store was out of them. they told me bassass was the new awesome thing, so I tried them and they suck ass. from that I would never have anything to do with there ballast.
right on bro..so far the ballast is awesome and I only run with hortilux bulbs. I use the blues in veg and the super hps in bloom. Hortilux has given me consistently great results. so I tend not to stray away from them to save money. quality of light output is critical to get top shelf buds. so for that, its only hortilux bulbs for me.

but this ballast and technology is still kinda new, and since I am a proficient gardener, I feel its my responsibility to report my findings on this ballast for the others to review on rollitup. Its so important to get a straight up review and know that the user isn't a complete jackazz lol. Some users really need this info so Im gonna keep it up to date so potential users can get all the details they need before spending money on the ballast. And I would feel better reading a review from a competent gardener :)

ok this is the last update to this thread until I have a problem with the baddass ballast. So far, cant say much other than it runs like a champ, and starts up 3 times faster than my other 2 digitals. If this ballast goes down, I will come back to post a report...

this thread has been more of a plug for advanced ballasts not an opinion thread. every opinion that has been given or stated has been rebuked by your claims of 3X faster startup times and 10% brigher intensity.

Please show us something that is detailing how your getting these percentages Cause i for a fact used one (and it preformed the same as my phantom 1000watt or friends digital green house or quantum.) before advanced was all the hype for nutes, AND their customer service sucked, and they didnt follow through on their warranty. that speaks volumes

I for one will never buy any advanced product becuase of that. be it bug spray, nutrients, or any of their gear for that matter. lets see some results not just claims.

bro, I don't advertise for companies. I just call it as I see it when I use it myself. maybe u say the customer service sucked for you, but its been great for me on several calls and not just one call. this is an opinion thread, not an ad thread. I needed opinions, there was little of them. I got the unit myself and now I'm reporting back my findings based on usage. It's still running in my garden, and it does kick ass period. All my ballasts are connected to a 240volt hub, which u can clearly see in my journal photos. so once its triggered on, ALL of my ballasts are fired simultaneously... and my eyes see what they see. The baddass ballast is to full power much faster than my digital greenhouse AND MY LUMATEK. Its just that simple. no rocket science, just facts to my eye. it really doesn't matter to me whether anyone likes my opinions or not. I've dealt with LUMATEK's customer service and if you think its better than Advanced or anyone else for that matter well ...lol I'll be laughing my ass off when you try to get them to replace a ballast for you bro. Lumatek gets my SUCK award for customer service.

Fact is, I know what I'm doing and my plants are thriving like a champ and I'm sorry you and the other "Advanced Nutrients Haters" don't like it, but my crop is kicking ass and my clients know who the shit is in my neck of the woods. In other words, my opinions of the AN haters are..

1. Sorry you can't afford it
2. Sorry you yield less
3. Sorry your quality lacks
4. Sorry you don't know what you are truly doing
5. Sorry you are jealous
6. Sorry you let biased opinions cloud your judgment
7. Sorry I have your clients
8. Sorry you have nothing better to do

and just for the record, I don't use just "Advanced Nutrients" exclusively. I use many products to achieve my goals. I just know what to use, and how to use them. And I know how to do things in the world of horticulture. Some people in here just grow cannabis. Some of us have Horticulture and various other degrees whether you realize that or not. Let me pass some old man wise advice to you...It's better to have people to "presume" you are an idiot than to "open your mouth" removing all doubt...

and if you had to get a warranty return using advanced nutrients, you should not be growing at all. if you truly know how to be a farmer, grower, Horticulture professional or Dr., you would have been very successful because their products work, period. They know that, I know that, and many others as well know that. They work period. And if you messed up your plants it is usually YOUR error. Now I know sometimes a bad batch of product can make it to the market, or expired nutrients may not be pulled from a sale shelf. But if you can't use such an easy system like the ones Advanced makes, shame lol

I fall under # 1---I can't afford it.
So I've been using DynaGro with pretty good results.
I'm not an AN hater though. I have a small bottle of Big Bud and about 4 weeks into flowering my girls were really thirsty and I hit 'em with a fairly big dose of BB and I gotta say, 3 days later the buds had definitely taken notice to it. The pistils seemed to react to it by standing straight out and they made it clear to me that they liked it.
I think it falls somewhere between good stuff and amazing stuff really.
But these things are also mostly in the hands of the user as far as what to use, how much, and when to use it.

Anyway...this threads about ballasts so please carry on....

More un-backed claims...
Except this time insinuating im also a broke idiot who's just hating on advanced. Not the case at all.
My plants are fine. And my opinion has nothing to do with the QUALITY OF THEIR OIL.
Like I said it's because their customer service. No warranty backing on equipment. Shit the hydro store won't even stock their equipment cause they had a return on EVERY BALLAST WITHIN 1 yr So that's cool bro I'm glad it's working out for you.... Hope it still keeps kickin

I love mine, hoping to upgrade my other Ballasts

Sent from my HTC One using Rollitup mobile app
Thank you bro, I love mine too and that's ALL that matters. Im not here to prove sh*t to anyone. Im here to learn more and at the same time, help other people. I don't need "paper data" on gear and nutes I decide to buy or use. I'd rather get as much input from END USERS as I possibly can, then form my opinions and decisions. But still, as predicted my Baddass ballast continues to run great and do the job I expect it to do. I don't need a piece of paper to tell me its going to do good, I need my PLANTS to show me its doing good. And THAT is exactly the case in the present.
