Above is the reason cannabis is classified as illegal. The reason the war on drugs continues. The reason legalization efforts fall short. The reason MMAR doesn't work. Personal gain vs a functional system. Dollar signs cloud the minds of 90% of the ppl involved on both sides of every issue that has to do with cannabis. The reality of it all is completely corrupt, however I thought of a solution everyone could live with.

To make you understand how my solution could be fair, we must ask ourselves what is fair? What is an ounce of bud worth? If you have purchased bud before (in Canada) I'm guessing you have paid between $100-$300/oz. So how much of that money you spent actually was put into growing the bud u purchased? That is a very hard answer to give. There are so many factors that can be included into it. Although I cannot give you that answer, I can let u in on a little secret. If you can afford to spend that on bud, you can afford to grow yourself more than you will know what to do with. Seriously.

Near the time Colorado and Washington legalized, the Conservative Party implemented the Safer Streets and Communities Act. Part of this act allows courts to give mandatory minimum sentences of 6 months for cultivation of more than 6 plants. 6 isn't a lot but if planned properly, a person could easily produce enough of their own costing them less than $30/oz after initial investment. It will take a few months to fine tune everything and for your skill level and experience.

If every Canadian that smokes 1oz or more per month grew their own and taught others how to grow we could devalue the profit margins for those seeking monetary gain.
