ontario grow. white widow

I've been on here for a bit reading up, learning tricks, and i thought i would post pics of my plant. i started with 4 plants and quickly learned that the coons in the area were hungry for my plants so now I'm down to the one. the strain is white widow feminized.

I'm growing in a marshland area next to a corn field. i used tires to raise my plant above the water level. I choose to plant it in a spot that doesn't get a ton of light so that it is better hidden. I painted the tires camo to hide them from any possible sightings. I have the lower part of the plant wrapped with chicken wire, and supporting the middle with a tomato wire brace. Since the plant is in a wet location i have to deal with slugs and other insects, i am using a organic slug bait and a organic pesticide that i can use up to harvest.

I had a small tornado like storm pass by and break one of my main branch's off so now 1/3 of the side is gone... it is just starting to show signs of sex which i already new since it was a feminized. its hard to tell but the plant is nearly 5ft now.

i knew i forgot to add something lol, for soil I just went with walmart 1$ compost lol, and then im feeding it GH grow, micro, bloom along with superthrive, koolbloom (when its time), i ran out of liquid karma but it was used too, and lastly since it has been stressed i gave it a dose of zone, i had the plants growing on my balcony before planting and i used a foiler spray with dutch master penetrate and reverse, i had to use the reverse cause the lights were causing it to herm on me

I'm in the golden triangle. I gave it 9 liters last night and with the 3/4 peat moss and 1/4 perlite mix in the bottom it seams to have all the water it could ever want, no sign of under watering, i have yet to harvest the strain but its survived threw tons of bad conditions and its still growing strong.

100_1725.jpgHere's a pic of my white widow it's about 4 feet or so. Using sunleaves peruvian seabird guano 10-10-2 and straight water no special soil. Contemplating using molasses and changing to another type of guano with a lower nitrogen level. not to sure what to do though.

if your plant is flowering then yeah you can hit it with a high phosphorus fert, i love molasses, i use it at a 1-2 teaspoons per gallon, I give it a push with the koolbloom and the superthrive.

if your still suppose to be vegging then adding some bone/blood meal and some worm castings, if u want all natural u can put all of it in a stalking and make a tea.

in picture #2 u can see the yellow string i used to support the plant, i tied three of the branch's to the large tree to the right of it. the plant was slowly going to be to top heavy already so i tied them with a large loop to stop them from falling over....

two weeks ago i gave it a slow release fert for bloom, so last night i only feed it molasses, superthrive, and koolbloom, and some left over zone. in two weeks ill add some more fert.

for my 9.2L jug(2.4 Gallons)
-koolbloom 9ml
-superthrive 2.5ml
-zone 5ml

another update: :weed:
So I went and looked at the plant this week, gave it the last dose of bloom fert, and another dose of molasses, zone, super thrive, koolbloom. I will give it more molasses and koolbloom but i will be ending the other ingredients the next watering.

To control bud growth I have been cutting small popcorn bud sites off during each visit. I carry a spray bottle of organic insecticide and some organic mold protection, the white widow didn't need the mold remover but its also used to prevent powder mildew and i wont be visiting it for a while and its a damp area. I found more signs of slugs so I used the insecticide, I wont be using them again to keep the bud clean. other than that the plant looks 100%. My friend thinks I can get a 1/2 pound from the plant, what do you think?... this is my largest plant ever so I dont know lol

I've had great success growing my plant in 4gal containers till its time to go out. I had my plants growing in a closet and then my balcony before they went out. I slowly lowered the light cycle and fought off Hermie's with dutch masters reverse. I might have had a 1lb harvest off 2 plants if the one didn't get eaten by the critters.

i found a ride out so i gave the plant some more feed and water. the buds haven't grown a huge amount but i have noticed tons of amazing crystals, its living up to its name of white widow. i wish i could take macro pics in the dark or i would show some better bud porn pics....

This sucks my plant was ripped!!!

I think they found my site at the beginning of the season becuase they drove to my old second site which use to have a plant, but it was killed by animals early on. My mistake was made during the beginning so I figure I wasn't stealthy enough to keep them a secret in the area I was in. So next year I will do most of the same growing techniques but in a spot more secure.

I think I will have to find sites that are more difficult to get too as well. I will be looking over the winter and if I find one I'll be transporting the equipment out early on. I want to find another spot that is in a low laying area cause the tires worked amazing....

I have a close friend who I have grown with and trade knowledge and info with and plan to grow together, since I have a nice new grow cab I will be growning a w/w mother and be cloning twenty small clones which will basically be a plant and leave situation.

I will then have a separate group of 2-4 plants I will start to grow early on much like I did this one.... 2 plants per strain, maybe Blue Mystic and Blue Cheese.
