Lights have been in same spot for over a month. Just raised it with zip ties to the framing of the tent

That doesn't answer the question as to whether the lamp ever touched the plant that was asked of you.

The soil hot spot theory sounds plausible. I would trim it off.

I mean it might have lifting it to get it out of the tent but not really sure. I’m pretty cautious.

I did start them in soil but transplanted into 1gals with canna coco
I vote for light burn. The leaves touched the lamp, or were in close proximity to it at one point or another.
If no other plants at all are experiencing the same symptoms, well...
