Only The Strongest Survive!!!

I forgot about survival of the fittest! I had my strain infested with white flies, fungus, bud rot, very late flower. I wanted to save the strain but had to throw out all the clones I had and the females that I took clones from in the end.. I cleaned them up, took them to a clean area, bug free zone, bombed, bombed and then put them in to root. Two plus months went by and most were in a state of frozen animation, roots formed but no new growth. Two finally started to grow and it dawned on me, what about natural selection. Survival of the fittest! I took my old college genetics book out and reread some and I decided to do it twice.. Out of 28 clones only two made new plants so out with the dead and flowered the two with tons of light. One did great, 5 oz's lollipopped to some extent. Second plant did ok with a little over 1 oz.. I decided to take clones from the strongest plant late in flower again, only no bugs this time. As it turned out only two in 22 made it and the same thing occurred with the others, lots of roots but frozen in time on top.. Long story but in the end I found a monster!!! Now that only the strongest have made it I took clones the old fashioned way this time and all were rooting and happy in 6 days. Normally took 10 days to root. The results are a compact bushy bushy strong multi colaed magic plant that makes 2 to 6 oz's per plant finished in 57 days at a height of 35 inches tall... Now I have the monsters I always dreamed of and just from an acceidental bug contamination in the beginning.. I say make em struggle and the winners are the strongest ever!!!! It takes time but I can say it was all worth it!!!! Remember your biology and natural selection and you can see how this can be golden if you have the time and the desire to make your plants into the kings of the jungle!.. P.

nice. if weed seeds were as cheap as pepper seeds the survival of the fittest theory would really shine. most gardeners plant multiple seeds and only keep the best ones. it's nice to see the theory at work with clones. i have a theory about what branch a clone comes from determening how it grows. perhaps the "survivors" were from a particular part of the mother? congrats on the moms.

Not really any difference in the locations. The ones that did not grow topside, some had 40+ inch roots. Was weird but the ones that came through are simply amazing... Just wanted to share. Also I have bud that is trimmed wet and then same plant bud let to dry before trim.. Smell is completely on the side of dry before trim!!!

Final yield numbers. Two plants, 1k hps, cured bud: 9 oz's.. I am so happy. Now I know that less can be more!!! Plants were only 36" tall when done at 56 days... I think that is very good but like to hear feedback. Thanks...... Stuff is killer too.

The reason those cuts are staying in suspended animation is because you took them late in flowering. They need to revert back to vegetative growth, which takes several weeks. Even then, I'd advise you to let them start throwing at least five bladed leaves before you bud them, or strange shit happens.

I know this. They were in with new roots that were 40" long some, when I stopped wasting my time with them.. About 1.5 months. I kept only the two from each late flower clone and then made clones from the good growing ones before flower. Now I have a badass tough mother that is tight right and grows day and night.. I took 9 oz's off two plants is the last post so not sure why u are still commenting on why they were how they were? I already knew that and did not ask why.. Maybe some feedback on 9oz's from two plants, good? I think excellent!!! IMO

So just looking for feedback on this yield but seems no one is going to say jack about it. I don't get it.. See lots of wtg guy, great job dude, and many times about pics of really not that great looking stuff so well what do people think about my results? and not a sound. Just more people that can't read and answer questions they made up in their own mind. Weird .
