If they use obama care as an excuse ask them why is that when you can purchase your own health care starting next month for most likely cheaper than what they will offer it for. I used to wait tables making 400-500+ a week on 35 hours. I would do my best to change my standing in life so you don't have to work for shitty places like Pappa Johns that will use their employees to make a political stand.

My question here is not referring to just shitty fast food joints, as i do not work for a fastfood joint myself. What I am asking is do you thing we will lose hours due to companies making easier on their pocketbooks to have more employees and less hours. Where ever you work do you current receive healthcare a a benefit and if not, do you think you'll lose hours due to this or does your outstanding job offer such benefits already making this whole question to you null and void?

Full time student and stay at home dad with a wife that works in the healthcare field. Shoot we don't even pay a copay when we go to the drs. because we get a healthsavings credit card from her employer. After I finish school I will also be working in the healthcare field. My former employer was making tens of millions a year and paying prevailing wage as well as a respectable normal wage. They took care of their employees. I've been lucky a few times in life to offset the shitty jobs I used to have. If you are interested in a better career labor dept.gov gives the projected forecasts of any career you could imagine.

I am also in school to work in the healthcare field myself and i realize that this probably won't affect the people have have a healthcare job or I hope so anyways!!! Just wondering about the other job losing hours due to the fact i still need almost 2 yrs of school to get my degree in my field of study.
Good Luck with school mang. I think the accountants are going to have to look at what it's going to cost to hire new people to make up for cutting back other peoples hours vs paying the insurance for employees. I really think it's going to be business by business decision. My family already has seen a benefit from obamacare because my child has a pre existing and can't be denied insurance. Which would have happened after I was laid off but before my wife went back to work.
You do realize that this "shitty Obama care" will help millions of Americans avail themselves of your services after graduation?......It's what will feed you!.......Why do I feel you will be a supporter of Obama care in just a few short semesters? lol!
