Online headshop threatens to file police report on me

TLDR

I won't mention names but this guy who works for a headshop in the Netherlands threatened to call the cops and file a police report on me. He said they have a good relationship with the police to deal with people like me.

I ordered a 3 piece 18mm ashcatcher. They sent me one piece that was 14mm. When I complained, they sent me the other two pieces, 18mm. So I have two 18mm pieces and one 14mm piece, obviously they won't work together.

so for about two months I asked for the correct part and was told they sent it to me. The correct part was never sent.

I contacted my credit card company and without much of an explanation, the credit card company agreed with me and my dispute. They gave me a full refund and contacted the online headshop. They will be taking back the money from the online headshop as they did not send me what I had ordered. It was very easy.

The guy who had been lying to me and basically jerking me around for two months replied with this:

You are very free to express how badly you think we run our business, but please be aware that we also have certain rights. if you were to request a chargeback we will inform your card provider the reason for your chargeback and we will make sure to forward them our email correspondence and the nature of our business and let them decide if there are any grounds for your request.
Please be aware that this amounts to theft as we have shipped your item. If we do not receive an satisfactory explanation from you within the next 72 hours we will press charges with your local Police Dept. (officer's name removed) located at: (removed)


We will also make the nature of our business known to your local law enforcement agency. What we sell is not illegal but what you do with it may be and we are quite sure that neither you nor us would like the situation to escalate.

I replied and begged him to file the report. They still have not filed the report. It is way past 72 hours and they will not respond to my pleas to file the report.

Then they sent me a survey asking how they did with my order, lol.

If they just would hvae sent me what I ordered and paid for, they would be fine. Now they lose the parts and the money.

Wouldn't they have to get interpol or whatever that is called to make a police report across the seas spurring an International investigation? That'd put so much heat on them that he'd be a big chocolate covered dumb ass. Lol...

Post the name of the company so people can talk shit.

If you're going to post all that, it would be nice to know who we should avoid doing business with in the future.

They must have thought you were some 18 year old kid living with their mom. I would tell him that maybe the cops in the Netherlands may have the time, but over here the cops are more interested in stopping people from getting shot than to worry about a couple of pieces of a pipe. The police probably wouldn't even know what the fuck he was talking about. Peace

Or post ALL of the correspondence so people can see why it escalated to this point.

make sure you can back up everything you say about them with documentation
do not exaggerate anything, not saying you would but cover yourself against any legal action for defamation

publish the name of the company,
your motive being a strong desire to ensure other growers can avoid such bad customer service
who also as you claim are "police informants" < what could be worse than this ?

The credit card company refunded me my money and no police report has been filed so far. (fingers crossed)

I had no idea. I ordered a bong about 4 years ago during their 420 sale and had no problem. It was cheap. I just hit it.
I didn't think to check them out after having a positive experience the first time.
