Their is no-need to re-pot in the vegetative stage--If we decide to keep mothers latter down the road we can transplant at that time. I have grown 4 foot-high bushy mothers that have giving many clones from 16 ounce cups. I don't even know why the term--"root-bound" was in the same sentence as MJ growing. Big pots take lots of soil and space and water----We will save that for flowering.Hey Doc at about what point are we going to re-pot. I just got the go ahead to biuld my new room so I will have a bit more room and need to get bigger pots.I think my last grow suffered from to small of pots."2 gal" want to go with 5's this time around.
They look good.Heres a couple pics of where I'm at in my grow.I watered them once at 1 week(yesterday) due to cups being so lite and the moisture meter i bought saying the soil was dry.I watered them untill I got a small amount of run off.
I didn't see this thread untill after I watered or I'd not have, hope they'll be fine. They seem to be doing great.Room 74 degrees, flo lights like you and 24/7 on light time.Growing in soil, water ph at 6.5 and run off water off the cups was about the same.heres a pic or two.8 days old today.
I have 2 trays of babys.Top 2 pics(tray 1) free lenord strain(g-13/butterscotch cross).Tray 2 in bottom pic runnin 2 days behind tray one on popping ground(Chemo cindy,stinky widow.widow cindys.
I added soil to cup tops last night.Hope the watering dont f them up.They seem to be doing great.

Glad I joined in this school and thread.been runnin around looking for pots to replant the cups in.Will be nice if I can wait till I send them to flower.
Doc on cloning?Have ya ever done air/layering of clones while still on the mammas?Looks like it might be a nice way to save space and stress on the new babys.Just got done reading a thread on this method of cloning and they where taking 2 ft clones and flowering them as soon as they took them off the parent plant.Made for some huge clones ready for flower.Any thoughts on this?
no-jump right in.Is it too late to join?
I see that it takes longer for roots but dont ya make that time up with not having to veg the clone afterwards.I will try a few this round and compare it to the method you will teach us and see which one hits the bloom room first and at what size.I have plenty of babys to play with so do want to try this too.I like the fact of it still growin off the mamma while making roots(hence still vegging). Will be nice to compare and see.Lots of diffrent ways to skin a cat I guess.Just thought it was interesting.Air-layering is a neat method but takes more time than the rockwool/rapidrooters/aerocloners. Rockwool and rapid-rooters are so easy once you get the basics under-control.
Never to late to join the class AF----the doors alwas open...
