So I have two plants that i dropped seeds into soil exactly one week ago. I started them outside for the first two days no I have them on a 120v Sylvania Spot Gro indoor growing bulb. I have a small fan behind them to give good circulation and the room I have them in has a vent with a fan, so the smell is covered. Any suggestions or just comment on how I'm doing. Thanks

So your plants don't stretch too much. Their long 'cause their reaching for every lumen...You need better lights!

so should i just put the light on the side of them?

also the other two cups i planted yesterday, both have sprouted already

If you can spare another lamp, put one on each side of them to try and stop the stretch.
I thought the plants being long was gonna hook me right up. It sure did much later into flower when I had to tie cola's and stems up all over the place (they will get top heavy!). Walked in on one of my mid-sized slumped over to almost the floor. It *clicked* right then and there. Total pain in the ass when already trying to fight humidity.
I have two aggressive plants now that are tall and moderately stringy; and did not start that way either. Difference this year is they have a nice strong stalk.

As well, besides your lamps, put a fan on those plants to help them grow strong. Don't F5 blow them over, but give them something to think about.

Im guessing first grow. Give em good water a little food and stick them outside for a 2 weeks or so in a 2 or 3 quart container with good soil , its about 50 x times the root area of that tiny cup .. Just let em be. Sometimes we expect everything quickly. That light aint crap. Stick em outside an do some studying in regarding your grow. Use this time to plan and study your future setup. Are you going inside or outside/ DO you have the money it takes for the grow you "EXPECT". NUTES,LIGHTS FANS...ETC.Good Luck

you could put the light on its side... It is a spot light. I agree that you should put them outside, If possible, till you get a setup.

i have them on a 42 watt/150 watt cfl now. its about two inches above them. two are doing incredibly well but one has a weak base stem that has turned brown. the rest of the plant is green and flourishing. i have it supported now but hope it grows strong soon. one is turning a purple, which is great since its grandaddy purp!!!!
