I knew nothing going into this, I have yet to transplant them again with more soil! (also with more knowledge)grrrr.......why the half-full pot?
Thanks so much! This helped alot. I LST'd them to get some better sunlight on the inside of the plants! Also I plan on transplanting them one last time because I know i had skimped them on soil.Hmm, doing some LST, eh?
Something came along and eat it off.....no biggie. The next 2 lower node points will take over as the main shoot(s)...
This is simply what people do when "topping" earlier in the plants life. You remove the "top" and the next 2 lower points get the hormones that make them think they are the "main" top......FIMing tends to spread this hormone even farther down then simply the next 2.....I top for 4 mains and LST them....sometimes super cropping comes into play if they get a bit tall.
Plan now on supporting those new "mains" as they will need it at the plants height now.
BTW, I love your smile in the avatar.
is this guy (plant) always outdoors, if it is when i am outdoors i use a bar of soap break it up in to marble size pieces and put about 10-25 feet surounding pot as animals like deer have such keen senses of smell they pick it up and generally will steer clear kind of like why hunters ware sent blocking cloths or use deer piss to scent them selves like them so they dont get a whiff of something odd like the soap or deoderents we use on ourselves so maybe this could be a help to detour any wildlife if its outdoors i know it has worked for me in the pastThanks so much! This helped alot. I LST'd them to get some better sunlight on the inside of the plants! Also I plan on transplanting them one last time because I know i had skimped them on soil.
I find crucified rabbits, with "Do Not Seek The Treasure" signs around their necks effectiveDog hair works too.....gotta keep it fresh by adding more weekly (the local dog groomer loves not sweeping) This keeps rabbits out of my veggie garden.
