Death. Such a touchy subject.. What is your own personal feeling towards it? How/why do you think you feel this way? Do you believe you will exist in any form, be it afterlife, spirit, soul, ghost, anything... after death? Why/why not?

Thats the day i stop paying taxes, must be great ;)
Seriously, i dont mind dieing but i am not in a hurry to die too. I dont believe in heaven or hell so its pretty simple, lights out and over, nothing to be scared of.

i also dont believe in any sort of afterlife at all, and sometimes i think its kinda sucky. it would be awesome to think that im getting more than just a few more years, but shit happens i guess. at least i wont have an eternity to miss getting high ;)

The average life expectancy is about 24000-25000 days, life is short!!! I used to be scared to die but now if i died I'd just be at peace.
I even got to the point where i wanted to die cause of the stress in my life,i even feel as though if we don't count age we won't die ever
but we all except it as an inevitability,i know that might sound crazy but I've seen and heard crazier.

Well I like the circle of life concept. We're born, we die, and a new baby is born. So I see it as everybody gets one shot at life. And then your turn is over. So I'm pretty damn happy just having this oppurtunity at life.

When death rolls around, I will be content. I won't be sad, because I know it was a chance my sperm cell buddies didn't get to have. I won't be happy either because I won't get to keep playing.

who knows what will become of us after death. People always say there's afterlife & some say we just break down back into the nothing we came from. I personally am not 100% sure in either.

I do think that it will most likely be how it was before I was born & I simply will no longer be. When I think of that, I start thinking deep about all the times I probably could of ended it early(not suicidal). I try thinking about what's important and just remember that I'm not hear for that long and might as well do what I really feel is right.

I don't know man i try not to think about that shit too much, i tend to drift off and think of stupid shit.

I absolutely love life, I'm greedy for it and I would like to see our lifespan extended for as long as possible. It's going good so far, we live 2 to 3 times longer than we did just a couple hundred years ago. There are SO many things I'd like to learn and do, travel everywhere and spend a few years in each place, learn every musical instrument, learn to pilot every vehicle, etc. I think a million years would be nice, we'd get to look at a mountain after that amount of time and say, 'the top of that mountain had a little more of a slant when I was a kid'. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for my time here and each day is a gift, I'd just like a little more. I like the response from Mark Twain when asked this question, "I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it." But no matter how much time we have, my avatar states it bluntly, 'On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero'....

I fully accept the fact that one day, I will die. A matter of fact, thinking about it makes me smile, so I voted the last option. Not that I'm suicidal, on the contrary I have many many plans for my life and so many things I want to do (hey I'm young so I've got plenty of time). It's just that I realize that death is unavoidable, and I understand the true meaning of things in that EVERYTHING is impermanent, including myself.

The thought of everything being impermanent is on my mind every day and it comforts me, and helps me get through the best and worst of times. When I'm really happy, I know that feeling is impermanent and I know it will end, but I don't let that ruin the happy moment, it enhances the moment, making me enjoy it to the fullest of my ability. And when I'm sad, I realize that the feeling is impermanent, and that the sadness will go away, and I will once again be happy. Often as soon as you can acknowledge your sadness will not be forever it makes it go by that much faster.

Also if you can't tell already I'm Buddhist so I believe in rebirth, and I know that in the last moments(whether it being half a second or minutes) of life you actually stop feeling pain, and things become clear, and you are freed from the burden of this body. As Doer said, there is only the present moment, so simply focus on that, and enjoy your beautiful life while you have it. :)

(Sorry for going off on a tangent in the middle there I can't help myself sometimes)
