One auto not flowering?

Hey all,

First time growing, learning along the way.
Coco with 30% perlite
Viperspectra p600
Sensi a+b bloom 2ml per litre of water since day 31 (1.5ml per litre day 21-30). Carboload 1ml per litre of water since day 41 and overdrive at 1ml per litre of water since day 46.
Age 48 days from germination
Humidity 35-45%
Lights 20/4
Amnesia autos

Both plants are in the same tent, same nutes, same PH, PPM levels and the light is the same distance but one is progressively growing and started budding a few days ago but the other one looks to be behind with very few pistils and no budding yet.

Any ideas on the problem?
I attached pics of the two different plants.

there's always the chance it may not be an actual auto..its happened. Sometimes you have to throw it into flower yourself. Change the cycle to 12/12 and in a couple weeks you'll see the pistols your looking for....OR. she's a late bloomer and patience is key my friend....just my thoughts

Cheers mate! Would you recommend changing to 12/12 even though the other one is flowering?

patience is key! Autos flower a different times so it might just be behind and it’s no harm to wait. If the one that isn’t budding ends up being a photoperiod (not likely) no harm either since it will stay in veg. If it ends up being a photo just put it into another room on a 12/12 schedule.

i have the same problem with doctor seedsman auto cbd, it should be 2 weeks into flowering, but nothing but growth. ill try putting it outside in a polly tunnel to see if the 12/12 were on at the moment will trigger it.

I wouldn’t recommend changing to 12/12 in the same room as the other flowering plant. The flowering auto still needs 16/8+ For optimal harvest.

Thanks, I am in no rush at all so will leave them for another few weeks in that case. I don't have an option to put it into another room unfortunately
Also, regarding lollipopping, can I do this on the smaller sites on the one that is budding or is it advised to leave it?

Cool ill leave it as it is for now. I cant see any male parts so assuming its female (purchased from feminised seeds) and will just carry on as I am

If its already in flower I dont see how that could hurt in anyway my friend. If it were me I'd see what happens. Wait it out. If your anxious, go 12/12 and you won't have that problem sir.

patience is key here again! Wait another week - week 1/2 and watch for signs of flowering. Your plant could just be flowering late and putting it on 12/12 in a poly tunnel could just stress it and delay flowering further. No harm waiting and letting her veg more if she really is a photo

If the flowering plant is an auto changing to 12/12 would be less than optimal.

Thanks all, as the flowing plant stretched a lot some colas are nearer to the light as others, hence why maybe cutting off smaller colas would be a good idea... or not??
The non budding plant is obviously further away from the light, how should I position the light? I think the largest colas are around 10" from light

I usually lst to avoid that as my height is limited. Follow the manufacturer recommendation for distance from plants. Mine is 24". The problem you may have is burning the bud or even the stem ...can you bring the light higher and sit the other plants on something to try to make it more even?

personally I only remove potential colas that are shaded out or are on small branches (I usually remove small branches right before I flip to flower).

As for light positioning it depends on what kind of lights you have.

You also want to keep all your colas the same distance from the light for even bud maturity.

i sit plants in stuff all the time to bring them to the same level. Works great!

I was doing lst but I don't think I've done it right as not all are the same height... anything I can do now, now its in flower?
I am using led light as from my original post, I could bump the non flowering plant up to make it same height.
Will lollipopping and defoliating cause problems on an flowering auto?

Right LEDs. I’d move them up a bit if you have room. I wouldn’t LST in flower just go with what you got, not all LSTing goes perfectly.

I would not advise defoliation or lolipopping your autos, they are already on a timeline and any energy they have to spend recovering will be taken away from growth and yield. Isn’t worth it in my opinion. If big leaves are in the way of bud sites just tuck them down and away where ever possible

If your flowers just started you can still lst to create the even canopyor make it better . , just keep an eye on it. If it hasn't burned yet you.may be ok because it sounds like its gone through its final stretch. If your flowers aren't getting the light everywhere they need do to fan leaves then remove those...not too many because it will shock your girl. As for lollipopping It depends on maturity of the buds. If they are developed and mature than no.

I however don't like the idea of lollipoppkng autos.
