Once you harvest, when is the soonest you can smoke it?

Smokable after 7 days.

Gets better with cure though

Well the chemical compounds in the plant carries chlorophyll wich is what you want to extract with the cure also the plant still curing if you look at the trichomes a few hrs after you cut them down some are mostly cloudy but if you look at the same bud trichs 2-3 weeks later u might see more cloudy and some that turned amber.
Im no scientists but my conclusion is that the plant and its buds are still alive while it cures.
Kinda like when you cut a rose and then put it in a vase with water. The plant is only living off the water until it cant live any longer and then dies and wilts. Same with your buds it keeps maturing even after its been cut down. Also the speedy high its because the compounds in the plant havent changed to high concentrations of thc and cbd respectively. Just my observation

Let's say I put it to dry for 4 days, sure, it hasn't been cured yet and will take months to cure properly but can I try it after it has been dried?

It can be smoked straight away if you don't have any other from last grow left,i like to leave a few bottoms for this while the main crop is curing,and work with the sugar leaf,while its curing that way at least you will have some hash to smoke,

Hell...you can pluck a little bud right off the plant, put it in a pipe, blaze away and it will get you high.

Thats harsh as hell though...lol keep in mind that you dont have to blaze it until it is all ash. The trichs burn up completely long before all the vegetation does. That tip will save your lungs some...hahahahah

Pretty good article about what changes to what after drying. Also read a few others that actually say it improves potency to cure but yes it also says some get more lethargic. Not sure? Never found it was worse before the cure though. And honestly this is the first I've heard it other than when harvesting early, ya do that as well when I run out lol.

Takes me 5 days to dry then two weeks till i even think about smoking it. I always get a retarded head high if i smoke my harvest too soon it almost feels like hard drugs lmao which is terrible weed imo but it will go away after curing for a few weeks. By week 4+ all i mostly taste is flavor with a heavy body high.

Hmmmm I guess I'll have to pay more attention lol. See if I notice a difference other than taste

Yeah my bud actually feels much stronger and wayyy tastier after 4 weeks. I get crazy headrushes if i smoke before curing, infact i also feel a slight raspy harshness on the throat too.

For example if i smoke bud right after drying ill just sit there and giggle but i also get lost in my mind for about 45 mins. If i smoke it after some cure time then ill get bloodshot eyes while dazing out at the TV for a few hours, this is what brings the munchies!! lol

just eat it directly cant wait anymore because you love your plant!

If you're doing a proper cure: 2 weeks minimum for optimal effects.

What is the soonest you can smoke it? Within an hour if you quick dry it.

EDIT: I do not recommend quick drying. It's really better to wait for the dry and cure to finish properly if you don't want some middy tasting weed.

here's your loop hole on how to smoke as soon as possible
1) harvest over an empty open shoe box and let the sugar leaves fall into the box
2) let a fan on low dry out the box
3) sift the keif with a keif box or a micron screen
4) collect as much of the fallen tric's as you can and enjoy!

now if your talking buds only you should only smoke the bottom sugar nugs - you can get a plastic container and put the nugs in the window let the sun evaporate the buds then grind them up in a coffee grinder - wait about an hour and you should be able to smoke a bowl or even roll a joint
