Ona gel in a grow tent ruin smell and/or test of buds?

If I put ona gel in my grow tent and have an exhaust fan venting both the fragrance of my buds and the ona out of the tent will it take away the smell of my buds when they are cured or will it impart the fragrance or taste of the ona gel? Thanks in advance.

I dont know what ona gel is but just make yourself a carbon scrubber.

ive wondered that myself. i have a four by four tent n wanted to some of that Ona Gel but i dont wanna have the plants get fucked from it..

ya it killed the smell/taste of my first grow, i would never put it directly in the tent again.

never put it in grow room always out side. i have two out side my grow room i am a bit paranoid ( live in a duplex dont trust no one ) will fuck your bud i have had mine out side and i pull a bod off smells fuck stinky smelly little whole so it didnt fuck anythin up. do the o n a bucket look for jan 2010 high times or was it dec of 09 one of them two.

Put ona in the place where a person you don't want to smell the weed is most likely to smell it, not in the grow area. I have ona in the hallway outside the room where the grow area is and at the two outside doors to the house.

hmmmm, apparently this ona gel stuff might be more useful than I thought, im going to have to do some research on this, it might just be better than a carbon filter if used properly.

My grow is under my house and I sometimes get seepage from the veg or flower rooms. I had an apraiser come by with my landlord. I put the gel in small trays at the entrance to the room, in the room near the exhaust fan, and I also painted it on cardboard strips and put it around the open vents in the area opposite my wall that separates the grow from the vented crawl space. I use an ozinator in the crawl that is fed from the grow by a large can fan. The stuff worked wonders, kept away all suspicion, and did not screw up the taste or smell of my grow, although I wouldn't just open and leave it out full time in large quantities. Put it in perimeter areas or by a fan that will mix the smells and carry them out.

First off all you can put ONA in your grow area, yes your buds wont smell....... until you break them up but who cares having non smelling buds that are still dank as fuck is better than having neighbors smell your shit anyday, and ona does not make your shit taste any different at all!!

The ONA Pro gel actually has less smell than the regular stuff. In fact, it has far far less smell compared to the original. When I used the original in a sealed closet the smell was so overpowering that I was convinced it would taint the buds, and didn't give it a chance. I've used pro in my closet and it did not effect the taste or smell of the bud.

I eventually determined that although very effective, ONA is not economical. I would use it only for emergencies or temporary situations and not depend on it for primary odor control.
