?On venting thru diy carbon scrubber

I converted a basic, cheap scrubber into an inline scrubber for my closet with 8" ducting. Look at my thread, I gave the abbreviated version a few posts ago. I didn't vent it outside though, just to the top of the closet. Take a look, it only cost me $15 + the scrubber.

Thanks for the input I would be concerned that if there was a problem with the filter I would fill my hole house with smell from grow. Worreed about Inlaws and shitpeace man

im on week 4 of flower and am jus now needing to hook it up and i am flowering 6 plants i mean it is potent when i move the branches around and right when the lights go out

I'm working on getting my closet door light tight. Ive got a 142yr old house
and the door is a 1x4 construction and not very tight. This will be a very discreat grow I'm hoping! So thanks on how long till i need some filters for the smell!peace man

I had to put my carbon filter/ozonator on just after I switched to flower ... 3 weeks there was just a bit of odour comein out of the room

Thanks Beach bum I was wondering if I could make it thru Veg before I needed to worry about a filter. What kind of set up do you have?

another fan to push air another 20ft after going thru a carbon filter? Anybody
have a opinion on if I need another fan?peace man

after going through the filter, the air is safe to vent anywhere - why the extra 20 feet (and yes you'll need a fan at the end of that run - that is quite a distance)?

Earlyer in this thread someone said that there could be a problem with moisture, but after thinking he may have been thinking about a bigger grow,
maybe a hydro set up. I'm stting up a closet grow using soil, do you think mosture would be a problem, venting in my attic? its a small closet with a soloped roof
so maybe 4 plants 3ft tall apriciate the help! peace man

PS the 20ft would be to connect up with sewer vent if people think I would need too. Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!

oh you are venting through your attic - OK i understand.

you don't want to vent that hot stale air into your attic - it will probably cause you problems (like water condensation on your living room ceiling).

i would run the duct work and stick an inline fan on the end to help keep the air moving through it.

Thats what I thought but didn't want to spend the money If didn't need to.
I think Ive got a sulution to my light leaking out my door. I hope to finnish
that this week end. Then maybe I can start this grow!
