On vacation? NO PROBLEM

Many personal small time growers, hand water their beauties. They spend weeks getting growing her and making sure she is green and happy. One doesn't even think about the future when things are going on so well right now...

But what happens when your not around to water? Vacation? Funeral out of town? Work far from home?

Well you could ask someone to make sure your girls stay wet;)...if your in a legal state.... Probably not going to work out right for whatever reason. Do you want to come back to wilted-yellowing plants and soil so dry the water just pools on top?
NO

Make an auto watering system!! (I don't know if this is a drip system but I think this is different, feel free to correct me)

Supplies:
$15 electric water pump
$8 timer
$5 5 gallon bucket(or bigger)
$1.50/foot of appropriate sized tubing.
Dihydrogen monoxide (most important part)

Fill your bucket with the dihydrogen monoxide.

Thread the tubing through your plants so that the tubing passes through the center of your pots.

Make SMALL holes in the tubing that passes over your plants.

One end of the tubing will be pushed into your water pump, but the other side needs to be plugged up so water doesn't spew put of the end.

Plug your pump into the timer and set it so you only have the pump turn on once a day.

Test it out before you go anywhere
See how much water is pumped out to each plant, depending on your set up you make want bigger or smaller holes for more or less watering.

Go on vacation for a week.

I've done this before. You still trip balls while you're gone. But it's nice when you come home and everything's still alive.

If you can determine how much your girls drink each day... And make the right amount of flow from the tubing.. Your plants will be healthier.

A constant supply of just the right amount, rather than a soaking and drying, has produced happier plants in my experience.
