my plants sprouted about 6 or 7 days ago and i have 3 total in MG soil. the other 2 look fine and healthy but the 1 is starting to yellow on the inside of the leaves not the tips..its slowly working towards the tip tho. but i read the FAQ and it said yellowing on the inside of the leaves means that there is a Nitrogen deficiancy :( how do i fix this?

What, were the responses you got in the last thread not to your satisfaction? Why start another thread?

You don't have a nutrient deficiency, your plants are too young and they are in MG soil. Follow the advice you've already gotten, it was the proper advice.

hmm idk it could be i guess :/ i spray them with a mist bottled about twice a day and i spray just enough so that there is a tiny TINY puddle of water underneath the stem to soak down into the soil. this is to much?

yea but okay thanks :) ill try watering them less n if it doesnt help then ill transplant because the yellowing isnt THAT bad yet it is just slowly progressing so hopefully 1 of the 2 works

pics would help. it can be many things. nitrogen has nothing to do w/ it at this point that Mircale Grow has alot of fertalizer in it and alot of nutrients...some people say that it has to much. And you are probably just over watering... you should water that thing like every 4 days, making sure the soil dries through before adding more. ??? give me details.

misting will help but dont over do it.

i cant get pics :( but its a sproutling about 1 inch high and now i notice 1 other 1 starting to turn yellow :( hopefully it is that im watering to much cause i did remove alot of nutes from the soil befor i planted :'( but it only seems like the one is getting worse :( every time i look its yellower :(

more details

100 watts of CFL's 1 inch from each plant
i water about twice a day

i cant get time to go get new soil yet tho :( but my friend next door does have some soil thats not MG and does not have nutes i dont think. he always tells me its really shitty soil. just ordinary potting soil but he has 2 plants that are flowering in it...now by all means they are no AMAZING plants, but they are alive, healthy, and flowering would this soil be better to use until the plants get bigger? then i could transplant?

Mg soil is low in ph....Not good. Nitrogen is a nutrient and would make sense because is promotes vegetative growth, just as P (phosphorous) promotes flowering. I use blood meal!

DON'T MIST THEM UNDER LIGHTS! If you are doing so, quit. I did that in the beginning and all of my plants started getting yellow and the tips started getting crispy. As soon as I quit they became lush and green.

No need to water twice a day. This is all you have to do if you want your plants to survive. It's very simple and won't be very hard.

1. Go to any hardware store or ebay and pick yourself out an $8 moisture reader. It is very useful and will tell you exactly when you need to water. I love mine.

2. Get rid of MG soil. I know it's cheap and convenient, but it's not worth it. Go for any foxfarm soil (ocean forest) or nice top grade soil less mix. Just make sure its organic and has been sterilized. (nice if it has castings and guano too)

Moisture tester - $8
Ocean Forest Organic Soil - $15
Not killing your plants before you can harvest and get high as fuck - Priceless

This is your first grow, GrimReafer?

I might suggest you don't mist at all. Keep things simple until you get a good understand of how your plant will react under different conditions.

For now, you want to promote root growth, and to do that the plant must experience dry soil between waterings. The roots instinctively seek water when thirsty and will grow down & outward, increasing the size of the plant's root ball and in turn increasing the plant's intake capabilities. You need to be very mindful of this throughout the entire veg period -- when you water, water until water seeps out of the bottom of the pot. Wait until the pot is VERY LIGHT (almost empty feeling) before you water again. You'll know if you waited too long to water because the plant will wilt a bit, but if you catch it before it's too late, the plant will recover quite nicely and you can water a bit sooner the next time.

You're not watering too much, you're watering TOO OFTEN.

Why did you just post the same question in two different threads? I already gave you an almost sure answer as to why your seedlings are turning yellow. It happened the same exact way to me, using MG soil. Please don't ask for advice if you're not willing to listen to it, as posting the same exact question in a different thread suggests you did not like the answers you were given in your first topic.

Dont pick on him, He's buggin because his leaves are dieing.

MIST IT.

DONT WATER IT AS OFTEN. | make sure it dries through out

MG IS FINE - JUST DONT USE 100% OF IT IN THE MIX

TRANSPLANT INTO NEW POT W/ SOME NICE ORGANIC STUFF W/ LESS FERT.
-that bat crap works goooood-

I WOULD ADD A SMALL DOSE OF LIQUID NITROGEN IF ALL ELS FAILS.

----HE IS DEFINATELY OVER WATERING--- I water my plants like every 3 or 4 days... and give them 1 light mist in between. | 2 times a day is way to much.

Use your finger as the moisture reader...
-A PH tester for like 2 or 3 bucks is the best investment you could make.
-Testing PH is verrrrry easy and helps alot.

Thanks so much everyone. im ganna transplant them into ocean forest soil ASAP but until then ill move them into a mix of 1/3 MG and 2/3 regular potting soil hopefully this helps. also realizeing now how dumb it is to do but i was misting them while the lights were on. this is probly a big factor as well :( thanks for all the help everyone

? why would you back the light off? The more light you can let them have without burning them the better. Most people keep their lights only inches away. Very close to it infact.
