I check them every three days. They are 16 weeks into flowering! Two different strands, both doing the same. I got em under cfl's. (4) bulbs at 40 watts each, per two ft height plant. It's not enough light is it? How many more bulbs per plant do i need to speed the trics along? I reduced them from 12/12 to 14off/10on a week ago. Still no change. They are healthy, but just doing nothing. If i can get enough light on them, should that do it and how long would it prob take? Oh Im so going to get an HPS light after this!

been there done that, I feel ya! HPS here you go http://www.hidhut.com/catalog/400w-hps-digital-ballast-bulb-and-economy-reflector-combo-120-p-414.html you get this and I say about 2 weeks. I threw mine outside to finish them off. Also start to flush with R.O H20
if you are that far along. You need roughly 2000 lumin all over the tops of the canopy minimum. So if you got a light meter at the top of your girls that meter needs to be pegged to equal a early morning or screened patio. Can you take em out and use the big boss in the sky?

You should post pics. That may help get a response. IMO they have been flowering way to long. I have not heard of a strain that takes that long. Not to say that their isnt, but to have 2 doing the same amount of time in flower just seems like something is very wrong. I have heard of some strains going 14 at most. Lets see some pics and get a look at those ladies. Even when I first started with cfl's it never took longer than 10 weeks.

go back to 12/12 and hope you did not shock her BTW You are flowering if you can see tris so why are you messing with the light and givering her less to finish her job she needs more light to properly get the flowers done?

OK. I can put them outside. But I work different shifts and would have a problem getting them back inside right at 12 hours. But if i could manage that, so it would take about 2 weeks? If i can't get hps now, 2000 lumins, how many watts does that calculate too?

umm if you can toss them outside---no problem about the increase of day light---I am in the middle of completing a thread about it. You need a Meter but if you are growing in a 2x3 area I use 11--- 100 watt same as 23 watt ol' school usage for Vegging and 16 for Flowering they average about 1350 Lumen output within the first 12 inches. So 1350x16 for flowering. see your output of lumen on your 40's

The 10 off 14 on wont help speed anything up in fact it will actually slow the maturation down and no a couple cfl's isnt enough light at all. But a picture is worth a thousand words lets us see it might help every diagnosis better
