what happenes to the first cuts from a cup winner?. a friend of mine claimed to have gotten one of the original cuts from sensi seeds jack herrer, mind blowing, raceing one minit then half asleep the next. now if that cut is still going, does that mean its still as strong as the original cut?
im only taking them at there word, but i think thats the way it go's, you buy cut's of the cup winning strain b4 it's reversed or seeded with a chosen male

yes, they did rather pick on skunk, was it because of the % of thc and the combination of terps it contained, or was there higher % thc strains allready out there in the seed stores?
Nah the media just locked onto the name mate id say now theres stuff thats more potent just nothing with the same effects due to its unique chemotype isnt so much the thc content its the combined effect of every flavonoids cannabinoids terpenes thiols esters n fatty acid chains etc all that together is what made skunk skunk imo id say real nevils haze would mess with more folks heads than skunk it really comes down to the person ig i can smoke the full spectrum without experiencing many negative effects obviously people vary there some cant as it dont agree with em

Take my wife, not only can she smoke early bud without a single drop of amber, she can also smoke it green. Green is what I call bud that only dried to where it will burn. My wife actually prefers the amber-less bud. And we both enjoy the taste of the fresh green bud.
Unfortunately it is hard for me to enjoy the high produce by smoking green bud because it will have me running around screaming, or hiding in the closet while begging God for my salvation. Then after that, I usually start giving away all my worldly possessions. All the while my wife will be looking at me like what the… did he smoke.
At first I thought the different reactions between me and her was due to her tolerance. However after doing some testing, in other words, giving out sample to people of different tolerances and recreational drug backgrounds, I have learned that tolerance is not the only reason that some people have adverse psychological events when using marijuana.
When I give out early samples to people who are heavy smokers, most will react in the same manner as I do. Mind you that most of the people involved in my testing, are also related to me.
However when samples are given to people who are unrelated, the bud usually do not bother them, just as it doesn’t bother my wife.
Let me explain further. The giving away of my things started when I was 17, which is about the same time schizophrenia is known to start in adults. I call that time if my life a midlife crises, as I was always worried and huge fear of dying. Let it also be know that I wasn’t smoking marijuana or cigarettes, or any other drug, and neither was I drinking during that time. Therefore I can say that it wasn’t the marijuana that initially triggered these type of psychological events in my life.
Unfortunately, I have to say that several times marijuana has induced these same type or adverse psychological occurrences multiple times since i started using it. Which usually occur after smoking green, amber-less bud.
Which is the reason why I’m more inclined to take my bud around 10% amber. The 10% amber drastically reduces the possibility of me having negative psychological effects which I usually refer to as “psychosis”.
That’s not to say that marijuana induced psychosis no longer happens to me, however it is usually is as severe as it was when first experience it.
By severe, I mean going several days in a transcendental state. Perception and reactions are different than normal. Some would call this experience freaking out, which goes much further than the normal marijuana induced paranoia. I relate the event to defragmenting a hard drive. Or let’s say, being in recovery mover as the brain still function, but at a reduced capacity. In my opinion it is the brain’s way of giving itself a much need break.
I find marijuana to be the proper treatment for these condition which are more commonly referred to as stress. The frequent exposure to marijuana induced psychosis, has taught me how to reliably deal with socially induced traumatic stress. Some call it anxiety, or panic attacks, or schizophrenia, however I find to be a condition closely related to post traumatic stress. Which simply means, we are tired and cannot take it any more. Therefore the brain decides to take a break as it puts the sufferers on a type of preprogrammed auto pilot.
What marijuana does, is offer the brain a much needed break, before it decides to take one for itself. Frequent or even occasional use can prevent stress related psychological event from becoming severe. Which is the reason marijuana use keeps increasing in every demographic.
This is something that I have studied since high school when I first learned that my family suffers from the condition. For me, this is not guesswork because i live it everyday.
Marijuana has enabled me to push past the anxiety, panic and stress, and live a much happier life. It is the best natural antidepressant once a person learns to use it to their advantage. This is just one of the reasons that I say that I’m a marijuana advocate. I share my experiences as I have help a lot of people learn to overcome tragic and traumatic events in their life. Learning to deal with the effects of marijuana induced psychosis didn’t come easy. The efforts that it take to do so, will be well worth the benefits. Your friend and family will love you again. As you will also learn to love them and yourself.
I know that everyone’s experiences are different, as an advocate, I aways take the time to put in a good word for my girl. Cannabis does so much for us as humans, but it seems that she is always taking one for team. This is how I thank her for all she has done for me. This is how I give back.

I'm curious about his bx2, have you grown it? I'm also curious about akbb's great dallas old school skunk. is it a close relative of shoreline? the name sure sparks interest
I grew and harvested the BX2. I found 2 keepers in my pack. No males. Terps were citrus and skunk on one and skunk/coffee/fuel after a good cure. High was 7/10 but I harvested early to increase chances of reveg. On the reveg i harvested a 2nd time and high was 9/10 after proper dry and cure. Both keepers have now fully revegged btw. Extremely hardy plants. I want another pack to hunt again. Also fishscale is PHENOMENAL keeper is also in reveg!!

Like everyone else, I read everything skunk related. I think rks is probably hiding in DJ Short’s blueberry. Short original genetics link directly to rks, therefore sooner or later someone, if not he, it’s going to find it.
I’m thinking ahead and want to be ready when the rks does show up.
Sense I don’t grow commercially, I prefer autos as I tend to forget that most people grow photoperiods. Therefor I don’t have the same mentality as a photo grower. My goal is to hook me up a nice auto just in case it is found. That way I can cross it to something that I already prefer to smoke. Isn’t that how it’s done.
Where I’m from, everybody and their grandma grows a plant specific to their needs. It’s nothing to walk up to an old relatives house and see a plant growing beside the porch or in the yard somewhere. No one bothers the plants because we know that they are going to smoke it with us once it’s done. The only bad thing is that when these old guys pass, the only acces to the genetics will be searching the cups of seeds that someone has sitting in a solo cup somewhere. Even then you will have to search thousands of seeds because that stash will have seeds from all over the area in it.
In rare cases a grandchild will continue growing the old timers bud, however most of them usually start growing cookies instead.

I was reading about spannabis and I know sensi has been teasing skunk for a while but a 2000 plant hunt.. If they can't find and isolate skunk out of 2000 skunk beans I don't think it's to be found really. Last time I seen real skunk was 02-03. Skunkiest since was from a brick of swag around 07-08

I posted something similar to this last year. During the 80's when "they" cleaned up the acid rain farmers had to add sulphur to their crops because nature seemed to have adapted to the ph. I know a few growers who grew in corn and in the wind breaks between crops. So maybe the addition of sulphur affected the smell or whatever effects decades of acid rain had on the soil. One theory I have would be to find out the difference in average soil composition between the 80's and now. Then mimic the 80's soil and start inbreeding strains for multiple generations until they adapt/thrive, then see if it's skunky. If not then on to inbreeding the next possible strain.

How would that explain the indoor skunk?

I only knew one person who grew skunk#1 indoors in the early 90's , it was dank but not skunky. His pheno had crazy long pistils that didn't seem to recede, always made me think of a 70's playboy.
