Old school kush

About 10 years ago when I first started getting kush, it was amazing. Still the best smoke I've had till this day. The way me and my friends used to identify kush was by the smell of the smoke. The smoke smelled kind of like the bud did with an added incense and it lingered for an hour or two. After a joint you could leave the room, go back in an hour later and the room would still dank of kush.
Does anyone know which strains might have these traits? The dank sinatra I grew had a little of this and I hear la pure kush has this too.

Try finding some of the early Kush. Afghan Kush may be one. I'm not sure.

Back in that time, my friends called everything kush. Consider the possibility that what you were smoking wasnt actually a kush, but merely called so.

Same with half the crap I've been given. Who knows if it was what I was told it was. Coulda been some mexibrick gutter weed for all I knew.

I hear you on that because I was the same way with Haze i always loved the smell,taste,look,and high of Haze, but I haven't found a good batch in like 5+years now and I miss it

"Kush" has been so over-used that it's difficult to know what people mean by the term any more.

If it's the type that smells up the room and linger for hours, kind of a hashy smell and flavour it's definitely hard to find these days. I gave up on trying to find it and started crossing my own crosses, got it in one pheno I pulled recently. Triple bagger or you'll smell up whatever room or vehicle it's in, no getting away from the smell. I just found a male that has road kill skunk smell in VEG, crossing it with this Blue Harley "Kush" pheno, plus just started spraying a clone of it with Tiresas to make some S1 fems of it. Everyone I've shared it with tries to get a bag of it. I don't sell so they only get to smoke it when I share with them
