I just cut them and put them in a cup of ocean forest and 20% large perlite pre watered in and placed under a humidity dome.

2 weeks and they are usually rooted and growing. Then I let them fill the party cup with a good rootball before transplanting up. Nice strong plant results.

select, cut at node, expose cambium layer, dip in clonex into the moistened rapid rooter. roots show in a few days and it goes into a cup of plain pro mix until transplanted into one gallon bags then into five gallon buckets. about a 99% success to finish

Cut long ones into a big bouquet in a vase of 6.0 water. Place in neoprene holder then scarify a node, cut diagonally through node then place in turbo Klone with 6.0 water.

About a week.

I screen ProMix thru a 1mm mesh, same as mosquito screen for your windows, then fill up one of those 9-hole seed starter pots. Moisten well then poke a hole in the center of each one at least twice as big as the stem that going to go into it.

I'll take my cuttings so there is at least one node under the surface when planted, scrape the stem a bit to expose the cambian layer, dip into clone gel then clone powder, drop in the hole and use my little pocket knife to pack the mix in tight against the stem and follow that with a few squirts of water to make sure it's nice and moist around the stem.

Into a dome with something like a 23W CFL 6" above them in the bedroom closet and almost always get 100% rooted within 2 weeks depending on the temps in the closet. No heat mat and I've had them root fine with temps as low as 60F. Just takes longer but the lower temps really help prevent stem rot, (damping off). I killed a batch with four of those pots once using a heat mat so never did that again. Was in my early days of learning to clone and I'd be lucky to get one out of 3 then.

This thread reminds me that I'm late to clone my CBD plants and get the mom's into the flower room. :)

Aero is my go to as I keep a lot of strains going and need something reliable. I'll also throw them straight into a soil/pro-mix and dome them from time to time if the cloner is tied up, works just not as reliable as my aero cloner. Aero's also faster for me, usually 8-12 days depending on strain/pheno.

I finally found a method that works for me. I like to use rapid rooters over rockwool

Prepare low ppm nute mix (200-280 ppms)
Take cutting and place in nute mix
Cut a bottom piece off at an angle
Soak rapid rooters in nute mix then squeeze out excess water
Dip in rooting gel
Trim and leave one node and cut tips off fan leaves
Then mist with said nute mix
Keep them domed with high RH% (75%_100%) for the first three days then you can gradually open the dome a few mintues every time you mist them.
I usually mist the actual dome lid then rather directly on the plants
Then leave them be under a low level light , I use a T5 single bulb usually 6inchss away .

Roots have shot out around 10-14 days

Also make sure your tools are sterile. Clean all blades and have your surface nice and clean.
