Ok to Trim Fan Leaves/Stems During Flowering?

Getting closer to the end of my first grow. 2 of my ladies are flowering at the moment, however my larger girl has some hand sized fan leaves that are kinda blocking flower sites. I remember reading I should trim them off to get the budding areas more light, but how do I go about doing that? Do I just clip the fan leaves off and leave the stem, or should I cut off the entire branch? Thanks :blsmoke:

Carefully bend them out of the way or tuck them under said buds if bending alone won't do the job. Cut nothing.

I cut all i want during veg, then the day i switch to flower and at the end of week 3 I trim, this is more about airflow and upper cola growth focus. I would probably do a little better without trimming during week 3 but I hate trimming popcorn and i love having single, massive colas. If your past week 4, or it can be at all avoided, do not cut during flower, if disrupts the natural hormone cycle
