Again day 26 in the evolution..You can see the co2 lines hanging over the plants

Well figured a quick update would be in order for the old journel.At this point it would be total days since the clones went into the system day 31 and they will have been under the 12/12 lights now about 10 days at this point of the pictures.They get 12 hours of light from 3 400 watt hps lights and get co2 injected 6 times a day during lights on.The ph still runs 5.8- 6.3 and ppm is arounf 1400-1550.All the colas are formed looks like gonna have 3 to a plant.The hairs and buds have filled in nicely looks like maybe 20 sites or more totatl on each plant.Here are the plants sorry but camera is only 4 meg picxals and blurs close.Temps at range from night of 65 to day with light about 87-90 with co2.

I will be doing a fresh res and flush in a few days then hit these with a full blown bloom cycle of Fox Farm Grow big, Tiger Bloom and Big bloom and a good molasses feeding.I know I was saying going with normal carbo load and sweet but what the hell lets add some organics to it lol.Will post as progress shows more.Later.

Back again with a new update.Its now been 16 days into 12/12 light cycle and ppm has been running around 1500 and the plants drink like crazy.Today was the complete res drain and change.I drained all 30 gallons and went with fresh filtered water mmm so clear at first lol.I went ahead and committed to my combination of Sweet and Grandmas Robust Molasasses.I chose the Robust over the original as its higher sugar and carb content but little less sweet but Im was more after the boost then the flavor.I added 25 new gallons of water and went with 2 jars of the molasasses which roughly is 2 tablespoons per gallon.I mixed it up 1 jar per 3 gallons of water to disolve it and it went into the clean res which now looks like coffee.Im a little nervouse but hope it will be ok in the aero system as my filter bag is now stained doo doo brown. I added my Wild Berry Sweet additive which makes the room smell fruity right away I luv it.I used my Fox Farm feeding chart and boosted the nute level as told using the Grow Big, Tiger Bloom and Big bloom in proportion.I ended up with a slightly lower ppm of about 1350 which I am going to leave for now.The ph came out perfect with the filtered water ,nutes and molasses with sweet at 5.8 so thats good.I.took a few pictures right before the res switch over to show the early bud progress.Lots of full sites already.Each plant kind of split into main stems of 4-6 at the base of each plant without topping so Im looking at 3-7 colas per plant and then lotts nugs from lower down getting less light but still strawberry sized.Hers a few of the pictures showing the plants day 37 from clone and now day 16 12/12...

Alright quick situational update.To hell with Molasasses.That stuff is not for aeroponics.I went into room tonight during lights on and saw plants were lookin droopy and the pump hum was different.I opened the res lid and saw the brownish foamish crap ever.The tubes were filled with stick foam and the pump couldnt get any water throguh the filter and the misters clogged.Oh I was panicin.I cut the pump bailed 30 gallons of water out yanked the pump and filter bag.Wiped the res out and took the pump out of the bag.I dropped the pump in theee tub let it run and clean hustled 30 gallons of new water into the res washed the filter bag which was an oozy mess of gunk had to hand water each plant with a measuring cup as they were falling over.Made temps stakes to help hold then reattached the pump without the filter and flipped the switch hoping.It took a mnute but the pump kicked in hard and then a gush as the water shot up the hose into the chanbers and I heard the misters kick and pop then come on.Water started flushing the system and is now running and water is flowing again has been about 30 minutes.Water is brown again light foam so there will be a few res changes tonight with plany water.Plants are starting to sit up so hopefully I caught it in time and the misters are all going.I cant pick the plants up as roots are 8 feet of intertwinded jungle.I am keeping fingers crossed and just hoping Grandmas Molasasses dint kil my grow 4 weeks from harvest,Well gonna go take a look and probably throw up for awhile..

Mate quility grow, great set up. I missed what strain you were growing. Your obviously experianced. What grow is this for you? When did you start using c02 i might give it a shot in my next grow but it seems complicated and a bit of a headfuck.

This is my first aero grow.I had heard of its greatness and say the designed setup like the one I built here being sold for like $800 and said fuck it and figured it out by looking at pictures and did it for around $150 total.I've known alot of growers both personal and commercial people from Mexico and BC and have learned alot watching different ways.I ve done a few different grows here and there few soil few flood and drain.This is my first co2 usage ever.Its kinda hard to figure ot at first but once you get the area formula and a decent setup its pretty much self done.Mine has an electronic solenoid and timer so it kicks on and off by timer you just have to set how long then set all the fans and exhaust on an opposing timer to go off after co2 is done and keep the co2 ppm at a certain level.A generator would be easier but they are like $500 and I pieced this setup for like $135 more or less which is about half price from usual.

Yeh your aero grow looks extremely professional. You should open up shop and start selling them on ebay!

Well its been few days since my heart attack molasses event and things are seeming to come back slowly to normal.I have 1 maybe 2 plants Im worried about as they are getting very droopy except for the tops with the bud sites and overall just look sickly.I did a good complete res change now 2 days ago with fresh water after flushing the system for 3 days with 5 res changes til water was running clear again.The new res fill is 25 gallons with maximized Grow big, Tiger Bloom, big bloom and Sweet wild berry additive.Ran ppm up to 1600 with a ph of 5.9-6.1.All and all getting better still the 2 droopies and the 3 yellow plants with big colas directly under each light.The next 2 or 3 posts here will show some updated shots of where the plants are at what day 21 into 12/12 I believe with the disaster..

Just thought Id take a few new pics while I was tending the area.Its day 23 of 12/12.Heat is getting tough so I will be adding a homemade air conditioning unit during day time to drop temps.The home made unit will blow air out at 50 degrees F for about 12 hours at a time. Will use 2 double a batteries and convection cooled air.Anyways hers a few new shots of whats going on about 3 weeks away from finish at these pictures.Will soon begin getting new clones ready for next round will also probably start some blueberry and Sweet purple to mix in with it..Anyways pics...

Ok heres my journel update.Its now what day 26 into the 12/12 cycle.Which meant week 4 is coming to an end and week 5 will be here in 48 hours.Im hoping week 5 or 6 max is the end of this grow as I have learned alot from this first aero grow and am ready to get a clean out and revamp of the entire setup and grow room. Temps hit me hard 2 days ago and combined with the stress of the molassaes incident I lost a total of 3 plants and stress 3 more which look pretty bad but are holding on for me.Well the 3 died but werent lost they went to ashtray heaven via my own hand.and yes even though they were young I can say mmmm I was butter on the couch lol.Ok quick facts we are at 1500 ppm and ph is 6.I added my final dose of sweet and alittel shot of nitrogen grow big 2 days ago and that gonna be it for the feedings.Next week or 2 will be pure whats in the res with ph balanced water to allow a flush to get going.I think my goal of 2 oz per plant can easily be met with this sytem now that I have gotten to use it for a grow.Im guessing this round will be roughly 1 oz dried per plant as the 3 that I lost yeilded about 3/4 oz each dry 2 weeks early and dying for a week before so 3.4 oz on bad plants in 3 weeks of flower.So that leaves me what 25 plants with a minimal of 1 oz per so first run about 25 oz plus 1 1/2 so total will be around 26 1/2 oz this grow with all the issues and non optimol conditions which will be corrected with the new improved setup I will be building in next few days with complete backup drip setup for emergency that will be capable of running off a car battery for several days in case of mister foul ups, filter clogs or power loses.I will also bo this next round with plant toppping and a 1000 watt light on moving rails and a few t-8 lights for side and middle lighting and maybe co2 from day 1 veg.Now the fun stuff lets see a few new pics as we get closer.The buds look nice and tight and covered in white crystals as well as the leaves covered with sugar.HAirs have started to turn tell tale amber orange and the mixed smell of the indicas own citus plus my wild berry additive making them very sweet and stinky when you move them or touch them with the extar bonus of extra sticky fingers.And now some updated picture of the plants as they get ready to make daddy happy..

Ok just some picture updates.The buds are getting thier red hairs pretty fast and fattening up.They seem to like the plain water with only sweet in it giving them the flush.May only need a few more days before most tops will come down then will let undergrowth gett some time to grow getting more light and will stage harvest.Pic time of buds now 30 days into 12/12
