Ok Question about set of leaves??

What would you consider the first set of leaves??? The first set thats defined after the round sun leafs or the first set to have more then 1 leaf on it???

Ya!! but ther is so much debate on wiether those leaves should be considered the first set since they die off so fast...Those leaves are used more for absorbing sun light in the start of the plant life to help the first set of multi leaves produce after that they have absolutly no use they get covered an an die off..

Thanks Ive done lots of reading on growing lol....but thats why i started this thread was to see what people thought..get some idea's se what people think..

Ya I thought it was MG I saw the nute balls in the pics. You should get some inert perlite (not MG perlite) and buffer the soil for transplant. The key to MG growing is watering. If you give it too much, too much nutrients are released. When issues start most newbies will think they are not watering enough so they give it more and the problems get worse and on and on until the plant is so drowned and burned it cannot possibly survive anymore. Don't get caught in this trap. So far they look good. You mentioned you are wanting to go hydro. That is of course up to you but consider the costs of the equipment and nutrients needed. I think I would rather spend that money on lights. Because that is what grows the good nugs.

Right I plan to get lights first before the hydro kit Im set back a savings just for it..an for the watering i water till it drains out the bottom as ur suppost to but ill let her dry for 4 to 5 days like i water on sat last week an she didnt need another watering till wensday...i have a scale i keep weight of the pot i weight when she dry write it down an the water her an weight whe she is wet so i know the difference..as far as nuts go ive only given her one feedingan it was very little...i honestly dont want to really feed her till she is on 12/12..

Be careful watering until you see drainage. Especially after you transplant. Always keep in mind the water activated nutes.

I am currently doing my 1st MG grow. I have always used a much better soil. But it was all I could afford and I wanted to see what all the negative hype was about. The journal link is in my thread and my avatar is a recent pic.

Anyway, now that I have given my grow a shameless plug...LOL! I never give them more water than they need to keep the roots moist, not wet. With cannabis it is almost always better to use too little than too much. That goes with watering and nutes.

So after you transplant you will have a lot of new nutes to contend with. Let them get good and dry between waterings so the roots stretch out. And just keep them moist...no probs mate.
