I mean there is nary an opiate user that doesn't have some kind of routine, so what is yours Trebek? Or do you only do opiates a few times a year? Which is commendable, though unrealistic for most opiate users. It's one of the most addictive substances known to man so I would like to know how you have managed to dodge this bullet?
You asked in a civil manner ( I appreciate that) so I will answer truthfully. I grow outdoors for personal consumption & being able to FREELY give away to friends & casual aquaintances. I REALLY ENJOY the ability/ies to give some a "package" of the "Backyard", knowing they are really going to ENJOY SOMETHING EXCELLENT. I enjoy making Everclear Honey Oil & IWH cannolis. I have no set schedule for drug enjoyment. Case in point, I hadn't done "REAL Coke" in years, I see the kerosene & diesel wash ALL the TIME!!!...WON'T TOUCH IT!!!...Meet someone with whom unknowingly "We" shared Old time contacts. This person after talking for hours knew, "I was cool", offered me some ether washed....& it WAS GREAT!!!...could have done as much as I wanted as there was PLENTY!!!...I did about 1/4 G over an hour period of time & was content. Haven't done any since ( 1 Month) even though it has been offered to me at Wholesale prices $40.00 a G for 90++% PURE.

As far as Opiates, I have a friend that is into World Wide Container Shipping from the S.E Asian area. I pick up a NICE Golf ball of O & "Float Away" about once a month. For some users, drugs are like the Sweet Song of the Sirens trying to lure the Brave Ulysses onto the rocks. I have a DARK History with drugs ( Cocaine/Free Base) in my youth. I've probably FLUSHED MORE Cocaine then most have done. I lost a marriage due to drug usage, was it the only contributing factour?!...NO!!!, but it was contributing.

I'm older & wiser & No longer have the urge to Conquer the world, I'm "Content" at my position in life. When I was in the grasp of the drug ( Cocaine) did I find reasons to blame everyone & everything on Cocaine!!!???....NO!!!...I BLAMED MYSELF!!!...and got clean. Thinking back on what I did, makes me SICK!!!...I'm NO LONGER Sick!!!...Alex

So after reading this I'm even more confused with your stance on addiction and drugs in general.

You seem to have seen the darkness that addiction can bring, lived through it to tell your tale, and now expect everyone to be as strong as you? For what it's worth I believe your story, and if you lived through that, why are you on here talking shit to those who are dealing with it now? You admitted earlier it's not a one way street so why do you expect anyone to deal with it the way you do? Especially now that you admit you still partake?

That's all I ever meant about tact. You seem to have come up from a struggle only to scoff at those going through that same struggle at a different time and the whole things reeks of hypocrisy.

What about the pharmaceutical companies??? They seem to get a free pass to kill people off with poison and stuff their pockets with millions while the poor guy working rocks and powder on the corner just to put food on the table and maybe make a few extra bucks gets judged and demonized. Not saying it is right but neither is the world we live in.

I will add some additional background information. I have been clinically DEAD TWICE in my life, I survived a multi fatality car crash ( 3 DIED, I came back from the dead) in my early 20s, In my forties I was killed during a Industrial electrocution ( I was a certified High Rise Welder) the paramedics Paddled me back to life. If anyone was a prime candidate to fall into drug addiction it was me!!!. Being electrocuted is to experience PAIN BEYOND most peoples comprehension. You know you are dying yet are helpless to release yourself from the grip of the electricity , it's just a matter of time!!!...People ask me ALL the time..."Did you see your life flash before you"?...ALL I experienced was...Excurciating PAIN & DARKNESS!!!...Alex

I have NO tolerance for habitual re-offenders. I got "Clean", I call myself a "Chipper" now, because I KNEW & HATED what I had become
Did I relapse?...in the purest sense of the word YES!!, But I caught myself. I believe ALL people can become AS Clean as they want to be....being an ADDICT is a full time job!!!...if only that effort to score was redirected to becoming Clean. There is a saying that "Misery LOves Company", why do you think people come on here to talk about their addictions & be coddled by other addicts?!...asking for help on a public forum to kick a serious addiction?!....PLEASE!!!...Alex

Your dodging the question Trebek. You still deal with addiction, you just have it managed where you only partake once a month of cocaine and heroin (SE Asia gball or whatever you said so I'm guessing here). So as a habitual user and an admitted former addict, why do you look down so hard on those who are there now where you yourself were before?

So how did you get "clean"? Your still using so that word really doesn't fit. Did you have help? Did friends and family help you out? Did you ever talk to a mental health specialist?

Nobody is asking for serious help to kick an addiction online. Rather they're asking for understanding. The interwebz is a place to vent, not unlike a counselor. A place to air grievances and look for support. In this way it can indeed be helpful. If you'll notice the first 8 pages were filled with understandings and warnings, not just admonitions.

I should have been more clear..."a golf ball of Opium". I don't believe I have addictive tendencies any longer, or else my "Golf Ball" would quickly vanish. My "Monkey" I KILLED LONG AGO!!!. I Have empathy for those who struggle, I have NO sympathy for those that make their life to be an addict. Do you believe Dutch that some people are beyond hope?...Alex

Still dodging the question Trebek.

You've dealt with addiction, and yet, you dtill think it's ok to disrespect addicts. Why is this?

So your advice then for all addicts is to get electrocuted almost unto death to get clean? Seriously confused. How do you draw the line between an addict and someone making that their life choice? Its all personal opinion so have to gather there are no real metrics for that. I know well-off bussinessman that their life is drink. Full-blown alcoholics with no other urge (maybe coke) but they are by all means well put together. I dunno I'm bowing out of this whole stupid thread.

Happy travels to all.

Everybody makes it a choice in a sense, unless you were forced to take drugs.... Tied down and forced. You're just like any other addict. Blaming it on pain and PTSD... cry me a river. Your PTSD is a perfect fairytale to another. Your pain is is nothing compared to some. I don't think it's wrong to use drugs to help with, and alleviate pain... but I hate when people use it as an excuse, and look down on others, because they assume that their pain is worse than others.

And you haven't experienced shitting bricks until you dabble with kratom.

But, I've ignored you obnoxious posts for the most part until now..... and I'll go back to ignoring them. Not worth the time....

The idiots you describe know the dangers of the drugs they do before they do them! They CHOOSE to do them once, then twice, then three then 4 times until they are ultimately the "worthless" addict they are today! THEN THEY EXPECT US TO FEEL SORRY FOR THEM AFTER WE TRIED TO WARN THEM OF THE DANGERS!?
self righteous knob
