I have a few rigs, none over 50 bucks. 1 is a cheap china import, but 2 were locally made. I got a STEAL on 'em, cause the shop I bought them from was liquidating stock because they were closing that location(they had like 4 shops). I have a hammer style bubbler that is worked and fumed, an "oil can" style direct inject(that's the cheap china import), and a sweet Sherlock style stemless with a honeycomb disc diffuser and detachable mouthpiece. Though nothing to be proud of, since they're all cheap "travel" rigs. I'd love to get some artsy shit that cost 1k, but I'm a broke ass mofo.

lol I was thinking that too... damn, now we gotta start playing with needles!!! I know its probably to fill the pen, but damn that looks sketchy as fuck.

I kind of feel a little awkward with all these needles in my kitchen. Last night at about 3 am a buddy came out. I looked like I was in the middle of some deep shit. I gotta say though. I think these pens are quite the thing! I had to give up smoking on the go because of the smell. But now it's pretty dang discreet! Straight oil in the 510 carts. Easy cheesy

Do you heat up the oil to get it in? Like is it a oily texture? I usually just add my wax to the vegetable glycerin but I would prefer straight oil. Also how long does that tank last you?

We warm the decarboxylated oil up enough to run through a glass syringe for injecting into the cart. We drip the carboxylic acid in by heating a wire with a glob of oil on it, so that the oil drips off the end into the cart.

you can also try dripping it off of a razor blade being held with forceps if you can scrape the oil... I can fill the skinny 1 gram vials like its nothing, have done thousands, its an awesome way!!!! the wire way works too but ive found to be a little messy for me. or you can also just use your dabber... dont miss the cart/vial though or its one HELL of a sticky mess as im sure you know haha!

Hahaha true that, if I heat up a wire/dabber to get my wax/oil in there will it be able to run up the wicks of my pen? It won't go back to its formal form shall we say.

well.. just smoked the oil rig... with my MOM!!!!! haha and her friend.
that was a first. she always knew I smoked in high school, her and my dad did too but were real hard on me for doing it, whatever.. just being parents.
lately, ive been hooking her up with an oz every time I come down... shes my mom, she shouldnt have to be paying top dollar for mid grade weed, fuck that. i give her ozs of the nicest buds I can find in my half lb freezer bags for free once every month or 2. kinda awkward handing her a bag of weed the first few times, but its gotten better.
today her friend wanted a bag, so I hooked her up and she started rolling a joint, lit it and smoked it and I had a few puffs with my mom... that was a first!!!!
I happened to have my oil rig sitting on the counter beside me, so I fire up the torch and start heating the nail... they both look at me sideways and confused like im crazy (two 55+ year old women lol)... I tell them "well you know what hot knives are".... "yeah" they say. of course they do, so I tell them its the same concept, and then take a nice hoot! I also had to be the first to say it, jokingly.... "I know, it looks like im smoking crack.. but its just oil made from weed.. beats smoking a joint and filling up a room. 2 puffs and im done vs 25 puffs off a joint" my mom agreed and liked the whole concept.
my moms friend instantly wanted to try it... lol so I gave a 60 year old woman (doesnt look 60) a dab from my oil rig and she took it pretty good. not sure how stoned she was because she has a decent tolerance haha.
so yeah.. just wanted to share my little oil rig experience!!!
what would your guys mom think if they saw you heating up your nail and dabbing this "fucking black tar heroin looking stuff" into it via a paper clip????? haha I remember one time I stored my oil in a spoon, hid it in my brothers golf bag in the garage, and she somehow fuckin found it!!!! thought I was injecting stuff, dont blame her.. a black glob of oil on a spoon to an uneducated parent never looks good.
k im stoned enough typing for tonight or ill never stop....

So if I heat up my oil off the dabber so that it drips into my 510 cart, I have the standard black ones that are about 5 for $10, I'm pretty much set after that? It won't try to reform into a more solid state? In the 510 carts I have, if you remove the polyshit, there is a tube and it seems like 2 wires, I drip it around the tube right? I don't want it inside the tube correct? I don't wanna do this and waste the oil is the reason I ask.
