I have a triple u perc 18 inch beaker for 12 years or so and I recently broke my 18mm hisi ash catcher being stupid, lasted over 12 years....

I bought a replacement

https://www.hisi-glass.com/product/18mm-ashcatcher-v-arm-diffuser/

and this one had weak glass (it looked subpar compared to my old one and has a design change)) and broke for no good reason at the neck after 2 weeks with my dab nail attatched..

I ordered a different one now and expected it to just fit but its off by maybe 30 degrees?

https://www.smokecartel.com/products/pulsar-high-class-ash-catcher-45-degree?variant=31831145283667

It just came in and the angle is wrong, I thought there was only 90 and 45...

Any solutions? Hoss glass sells 30 degree and 45 degree adapters

Another gripe is hisi downstems are only 14mm, 12 years ago they had 19mm downstems, why sell 19mm ashcatchers with no 19mm downstems? I replaced my downstem, I broke the original hisi downstem 10 years ago but now you need an 14-19mm adapter for it...

Someone know whats going on here cause I dont...

Im still using my recently broken ash catcher, I glued the neck together with rosin and just sort of smash it all together when dabbing...

This new ashcatcher is colored in the middle now it will be hard to see at what point rosin goo drips down...

That price is not very attractive. You can get perfecty functional versions of the same thing for less than $20 on eBay, etc. But to each his own. I’ve spend $35 on a guitar pic on several occasions, so, who am I to talk? Recently broke an ash catcher also. Here was the replacement, which I’m actually really happy with. $14.95.

The pricey ones do look sharp, though I can’t really see how performance might improve on something like this.

i was too cheap. i always just used a credit card to play a guitar, not well of course.
