Tried to catch you in time, it will be very light to pick up, l wait for wilt too but not always good to do.
Yes I found that out too. Had too long of a period of not checking and I was amazed they recovered. I think about putting the moisture meter in the bottom.
Now picking up the 15gal pot will harder as I had to put the pot in a larger 24x40 tray. I'll have to man up

You don't have to lift them just tilt and stop thinking you need that moisture device
I promise it will mess you up

Step one throw away moisture meter
Step two learn what a pot with dry medium feels like compared to fully watered
This is the best way to know when to water
I guess I have to repot it AGAIN! This might be the end of it. The roots left look pretty sparse. She is a tough girl to have survived me and the last 7 months in my shop growing wild. Not much good light management till now. I converted my shop washroom into flower room.

Well like i said to me overwatering is obvious by your lack of root development
Let those girls dry till they nearly droop
Those roots will explode looking for sustenance

Damn I hate needless buying.
I don't trust the soil ph meter either. The first one didn't work at all. 2.5 hrs back to the store. This one reads something anyway. I should take them both back. I check PH by using the runoff and the water/nutes before watering.

Needless buying is how we all got "wisdom"thru failure

I have a stack of UFO LED's
giant vented hoods
1k ballast galore
not to mention early endeavors in various nutrient regimes and ammendments

But in the end I ended up with open bulb sealed rooms using only 600's
With all in one nutrients in plain old promix

When I start insisting a change is in order it is an effort to save you from some of my past mistakes

YOu use slow release soil?
I always thought repotting was better than adding nutes and screwing up. But this is my first unplanned indoor grow.
I was shaking this film can of 9 seeds since 77 and finally germinated them for some reason. I guess I didn't think they would sprout or was just not thinking period.
I have a bunch of I-Grow lights and extra hoods from a rack build I did for a commercial horizontal grow 7 or 8 years ago. I thought I would p[lug one in finally. LOL They were over $1300 each back in the day before LEDS really got refined.
The only reason this grow is a grow at all is someone told me to not waste these 77's and someone would be interested in vintage strains. I could give a shit but I did save them for a reason but that was a 1977 reason!

I would be banging those seeds out for two grows if not to many hermies

Good luck there
I refuse to use pre nuted soil
Need control of al that I possibly can

7 of the 9 sprouted after being shook to death for nearly 40 years.
2 survivors of my wrath.
My plan at first was to keep the moms and flower the clones. I learned lots and decided to flower the moms so I had more room for faster grows and I was dying to try some in my pipe before AI got carried away with preserving the strain. I have 12 clones that are ready for flower and another 12 rooting.

I'm certainly a dummy when it comes to growing and feeding and apparently even watering.

colodial silver? I have been reading about it and also heard from the hydro store that you get more hermies from those seeds too.
I need to try some first before going into more experimenting. Hell I can't even water right.

I trimmed off most all the hurt leaves. So sad!

I looked at HIgh TImes review on buds in 1977. It wasn't pretty at all. Google it if you have the stomach! LOL

This one survivor may turn out to be male. I only had one of these germinate out of 21 seeds. Still have 75 more to try from a pro grower buddy of mine. It has great genes but why so many don't get past a speck of a root is beyond me.

THese are my 8 clones and 2 moms in back a little over 10 days ago I think.
And this is the hurt one a few days before going into 12/12 room.

I don't need to google it I survived the Paraquat days

Tiny tales mean the seeds have lost vigor
Not an easy thing to combat

As did I. I spent some time in Garberville, CA. I think it was the Paraquat capital. I just remember being happy to have buds and wasn't so picky because of the choices didn't come around often.

The seeds would get a 1/16" tail and then disappear a day or 2 later. Paper towel method that has worked for me forever. Then I tried 5 in rockwool and 5 in starter cubes, both soaked overnight in 5.6 PH well water 89 ppm. I do have RO water too but don't use it except in the humidifier.

I went to the Hydro store and they just went out of business today. Maybe if they manned the open store sometime. I went 4 times to find the doors open and no one in site.
Anyway ended up with ProMix potting soil from the nursery. Guess I won't be using VermiSoil anymore. They did have FF too but I didn't know which one without research but have heard lots of guys using that brand. 2 bags in the trays to dry out more.

I named my '77 moms Smithsonian A&B. I haven't a clue on the strain. Looks Sativa I am told.

Off to get some rock for the bottom. I had no rock before just a peppering of 3/8" holes in the bottom of the bucket. I had rocks in the bottom before moving to 5g buckets. Guess only holes weren't enough. Why I do what I do is beyond me sometimes.

It just started raining big time. I got the soil covered though before I left, so maybe my luck is changing. I'll drink to that!
Damn CO weather. One extreme to the other in minutes. Outdoor grow is SO HARD here. We live in Windy Hills and yes it is windy. I had young plants ripped out of their pots yesterday. Too early to put in the beds and apparently to early to even leave on the table for the day unsupervised. I feel like I have puppies that need constant looking after. It is amazing how fast things change for the good and bad with these plants.

I don't know what these mean. PPM 750, EC 1550 73 degs This is only 15ml/gal of bloom, 6.48ph. Never used this tool before.
I did feed once with 20% when I first went to 12/12.

ProMix says feeds for 9 months. More than MG at 4 mos. Doesn't this mean it is slow release?
I haven't watered the 2 1977 moms since 6-1 when up potted with ProMix. No nutes added to anything. The 77 Clones are running on ProMIx and well water every 3-4 days.
The AZ seedlings could look better. Rapid Rooter in ProMix. Time to water theses. Full Veg light at about 6" 18-6
