hey they coming soon to switch off lights to see if someones steealing power LOL it seems taht the spot i grow from is taking power from some aptartment...... weird wiring in old apartments anyways.....


my question is i have the plants in 12/12 what if i turn if off for like 1 hour during middle of lighting period??? just to avoid light company guy will this fuck up plants its in 7th week???????

it wont stress them too much if you just do it once. if you did it every day then the plant would not properly flower.

ok so how about if i had to keep lights off for 2 hours? or 3 just today only to avoid this queer plants be ok ??? only today then back to regular lighting

You could lose a whole day of light and It won't affect your plants. Just think of it as a really gloomy day outdoors. Your plants won't photosynthesize, but they won't go crazy or hermaphrodite, or whatever it is you're worried about.

As said above no prob... I just had church heads here and shut my lights off while they were here..

I think you have bigger problems on your hands....what if they track that power consumtion back to you and your grow op????

You should be fine but if you are really worried if you have a window you can put them by move them and let them at least get some indirect sun if nothing else. If you can’t don’t worry about it because regardless of if something happens or not your safety is number one so do what you have to do and hope for the best but in all actuality I do not believe it will phase them at all just happening once.

Just think how many people have had power outages of that long or longer when lights were out and they didn’t have real problems from it. It would be no different than turning off your lights yourself so do what you have to do and then go from there.

If they just test to see if there is a draw and then would trace it with the draw off it would not be traced back but if they are positive that electricity is being stolen and can enter every place they want to and test every line what you said could be a real problem.

plants actually are able to photosynthesize more when the clouds are over them if its not a thunderhead. because the light is scattered the lower leaves are able to get more light rather than just the tops of the leaves on a really sunny day. and complete darkness can throw the plant off of its normal cycle if its repeated. but for just one day it wont be a problem. and it is true that you can lose a day of light all at once. but not reccomended.

sirrus clouds are some of the best cloudcover that a forest can get cuz it lets the light come from a different angle allowing the light to get to lower leaves easier.
