Oh my god my 1st photo indoor grow is killing me

I almost always veg 6 to 8 weeks from seed to sex the plants before the flip. Height has never been an issue.
Surprised there is so much shock here that someone would veg so long.
Most of my plants have been manageable, aside from a few sativa's that stretched for ages after the flip

Not a bad idea. I was about to give up growing different strains. I'm growing 3 kush mints. 2 banana daddy. Highly recommend banana daddy especially if you like grandaddy purp it's crossed with banana Hamock and is the most social happy bud I've ever grow. I have people begging for it.

I did notice pistils at 8 weeks

Look into cloning. It'll be even faster than photo seeds or auto seeds.

I'm gonna try to keep a clone. Electricity and space are problems for me. My 1500 true watts led get that room plenty warm. I use ac to keep it around 85. Then I need ac to dry and my regular ac to cool the house. I only have 20 amp breakers. The ac , 2 of them pull 15amps each. The small ac pulls 10. Dehumidifier pulls a few then my 1hp well pump pulls about 20 amps. We're planning 4 dedicated outlets for the grow room. Just too hot right now to get in the attic. But I'm a firm believer of drying plants as close to 62-65 as I can. The buds just come out better.

I dont know why you are complaining about photoperiods when you decided to impose the long veg time on yourself. That was a personal decision. You can run photos 12/12 from seed if you want or veg for any number of weeks you want with photos.

You aren't wrong. I admittedly said I was crying. I've never grown indoor photos so I gave it a shot.

I dunno man.. my last run was 4 week veg and 4 plants completely filled the 4x4 space and 3 of the 4 were damn near 5 feet tall. There is just no way I could veg for 8 weeks unless I was only going to run 1 or 2 plants in that space.

Hope you have a big tent! 4 weeks veg os usually good. Smaller plants and more of them to speed up the veg.

I don't have lights for my tents yet. These are too big so I just grow In a spare room. But you still have a point.

You know, you don’t have to veg nearly that long, 4ish weeks is fine for most conditions
