OG Kush #18 - Reserva Privada [pics included]

I bought some OG #18 from RP and it was some of the best smoke ive ever had. Maybe it was a phenotype, maybe it wasnt but ive been growing for like 10 years now and that shit was dank!
I grew mine with a personally revised version of Subcools Supersoil and the results were awesome! The smell was a solid 9, it smelled like lemon, fuel, and sage-very strong and very dank. The taste was a 10. If there were a few strains being smoked you could always instantly pick out the OG#18. Everyone I gave some too wanted more and more and more. I think I gave away more than I smoked. It was also one of the few strains that could make my head spin. 2 gravity hits and I was fine and dandy!
Like I said, I really dont know if I lucked out on a phenotype or if that was the average phenotype but I loved the OG#18
I just purchased some Kosher Kush, I heard it too is the bees knees.

when did you buy the og 18? from what i've seen from a lot of these threads the old stock seems to have very few bad results compared to the new stock.

I got a pick N mix a while back. Was nothing like the pic's, was extremely leafy, and the buzz was reg..... I just got a bad pheno I think

after some more research it seems that a lot of people have been having the same results as you. some even suggest buying multiple packs to find a decent-good pheno. some have been lucky enough to find that special 1 in only a pack but most haven't.it has also been expressed that they have lost some of their p-stock which could be the reason why they're latest stock hasn't lived up to the hype. after all the threads i've gone through i think i will put these, kosher, holy grail and cholope on the back of my list. thanks for the person that started this thread and all that contribute.

Not good for RP if this has happened. I have a 30 month old girl I keep going and she is so bad she's nasty. Gasoline and dirty laundry have never tasted so weird and messes you up so bad. My friends smoke it like crack. They take a tiny piece and smoke it until it vanishes.

The pheno I have is hairy as hell, just covered with pistils while growing, and has basically no chem/diesel/gasoline/lemon pinesol smell. It may very well have the "dirty laundry" smell. I havent quite put my finger on the smell yet. With very few crystals. One of the least crystalled plants I have grown. And mine was also a recent purchase.

EXACTLY like mine. Loads of thin white hairs. I have 2 phenos. One of them is very airy and hairy lol. The other would be so awesome if it had crystals and smell. It's exploding out in every direction and the hairs are turning purple. Yep, purple. They are at 7 weeks and have about 2 more to go. The bag appeal would probably be a 10 but the smell is so nondescript that it seems like a dud to me.

My old gal puffs out like a kush should. Very thick buds with huge calyxes. Hardly any hairs on it at all. Matches the pic on Attitude exactly. These new ones look nothing like it.

Ive been running og18 for 3 years cracked six beans found 1 really good keeper, ran a recent batch and noticed they were similar too my 18 but not as powerful and had a shorter structure.

After reading this im going to grow this bad girl out. Got her free with the birthday promo back in march for tude.

Damn I scared to even run my OG #18 that I just got a couple of months ago. It sounds like I probably got some of that bad batch too. I was reading about it on another thread. I might go with something else this rip.

Meh after toking it i didnt think much of it to be honest weird smelling shit... Its potent but i reckon my sour d knocks my dick in the dirt moar!!

I've tried two different batches of the #18, and both were pretty good. They got the job done and sold like get out of jail free cards. Don't get me wrong I've had better!

I just harvest my #18 ...Now at around week 4 it started to look like a pretty good bubba and the fan leaves started to turn purple due to temps, by week 5 not only did it look like a bubba but it even had the smell of bubba, and I was like what the hell, did I mix up my plants, but no I gave away my bubba mama a few weeks prior of getting these 6/pack beans from a local disp in socal....it has great bag appeal nice purple tents, and even after a 3wk cure it still kind of smell like bubba...but get this on the exhale there is a slight lemon/chem taste...had only pop that one bean cause my plate is too full as it is....but now after reading this thread i'm curious now.

^^ Well how is the buzz then? Balanced, up, down, fucked up, clear etc. Potent?

Nice smoke report. What's your experience growing OG #18? Did you notice anything unusual about, like heavy or lite feeding? How was the branch structure? Did you top or do any LST?
