I cheaped out a bit on the water filter system as i dont really have the time to set that shit up under my sink. so instead i went to walmart and got britta filter but ITS NOT A BRITTA..its made by a company called zero water. and its kinda like a britta but a whole lot larger. and it comes with a TDS meter to prove that it works..not that i need another one but still kinda cool. it does what it says i tested the water with both of my tds meters and it comes out 000. and 7.0 PH.. the filters are only good for 16 gals.. or at least thats what they say.. or to chuck the filter at 6 TDS.. of course i will not and ill chuck it when it reads like 20. the filters are 15 bucks each but hell it works pretty good and i can keep my plants alive.

also my pineapple seed poped and is in the jiffy cude.. ill post pics when things start to get going. the early miss is starting to look like something.. though still a seedling

i got my seeds from them.. I got a ton of free seeds too.. all with the breeder labels and strain names. this website is legit and i think even better than the tude.

wow, good to know on the zero water filters. been looking
for a no waste alternative to RO water for a while.

im gonna try hard water on the early miss cause i dont realy give a shit and use the filter for the pineapple chunk. and some RO systems actually increase PH and add mag and potassium to the water.

I have the stealth R/O system (100GPD) and it usually comes out with a PPM reading around 0-5ppm and no calmag in the water at all. It also corrects PH problems so my water is always around 6.0-6.5 PH.

yeah the stealth ro system is good but im just saying this is a cheap alternative and works in a pinch.. besides i mix 1/3 tap water into my dwc. cause the cal/mag content of my tap water makes up for lack of which in the filtered water. seems to be working out for the one plant i have so far

sad to say the pineapple chunk didn't turn out just made a tap root and died off.. no idea why so i started another one and hopefully this one will work out better.. as for the Early Miss. it seems to be doing fine and is at about 2 weeks old and getting bigger.

also added all my lights and yeah the set up isnt maybe the best but it will work well in the end i think

also switched things up. Im gonna grow the PC in a 10 gal Rubbermaid but in coco coir instead. as its a bit easier to manage than the dwc. im gonna veg out the Pineapple chunk until the early miss is done.. of course lst the crap out of the PC and I hope to get a sativa pheno. if all works well i may get the full use out of my 300W of LED.. (210W CXA)(110W PAr 3 probably harvest the giant bitch mid may early june. due to the 13 to 15 week flower

according to all accounts online, the pchunk strain only takes 8-9
weeks to flower. she is reported as being finicky on nutrients, so
good luck with the seed plant.

not from what i read some say its 50/50 and has 2 phenos one is a sativa and others are indica. looking at other fourms people seem to get a sativa more often. having to flower for over 10 weeks. ill see if i can get one of em to actually makea plant.. they dont seem to wan to go further than germ then they die off.. and no its not due to newb factors.

as i have my early miss starting to flower at 3 weeks. though getting the brown gunk, i have hydro guard and ZHO innoc on its way, says it should be here on the 7th.. I dumped the strongest hydro poroxide i could find at the drug store in there and then made usre the ph was good after. hopefully the hydroguard gets here before the brown shit kills my EM.. yes i have the buckets not only painted black but coved with reflective tape and no holes cut into the buckets the 2 yes TWO air lines i have going into the 5 gal are run though the pot to avoid light leaks..anything else i can do to avoid the brown shit?..yes temps are around 20C..

this is a pic of the lights currently set up and a pic of her about a week ago.. when she was doing okay.. right now though a bit bigger shes suffering from root rot/brown slime which hopefully I got rid of by having her sit in a light nutrient solution with h202 over night followed by having the bucket changed with new air lines and stones and having aquashield and ZHO added to a 400PPM solution higher in N and micro nutes more so than Cl mg. hopefully ill have pics next week to show improvements and also a surprise soon.. I got A PC to become a seedling I hope the coco coir works better than the hydro.. i also added aqua shield and ZHO to the coir as well to help it along

yes i got rid of the clear shit and got some blue opiate stuff instead. I am trying to do shit somewhat right and get some kind of harvest by may. (pineapple)... and maybe if my first attempt at hydro works out something by late feb. (Early miss). coco coir is also new to me yet i think a little more simple than a dwc.. hopefully more forgiving too

UPDATES!!!..
Pineapple chunk popped last week and now i have a seedling.. the Early miss seems to be doing well after the brown sludge incident. the aqua shield and ZHO seem to be doing amazing things to the plants roots... being from almost dead last week to growing almost half an inch a day and drinking about 3 litres of water.. i have the ppm at 500 and she seems to be liking it..doing good for something i was about to chuck out..

more updates pics to come soon. well the Early Miss seems to be taking very well to the aquashield ZHO brew i made, hopefully the hydroguard gets here soon. (as i think the aquashield is expired).. due to them having not made it for 2 years now..

regardless the EM is going nuts and just chugging water and nutes and growing like crazy.. I also tied her down a bit and it really took well to that.

the pineapple chunk is starting to show signs of growth. its taking to the coco coir pretty good. i did add some zho/shield tea to its water just to push it along. and now its really growing.. ill probably transplant it into a bigger cantainer in feb and then turn it to flower on Valentines day.. which hopefully should be when the EM is done...giving the PC a month to veg.

on a side note..not too sure what pheno The PC is yet.. looks a little indica but ill let you decide when i post pics

more updates.. i donno if i can keep up with how much shes chugging back she seems to be drinking almost half the water in a day now. I just got the hydroguard,some great white shark mychonyze and sweet berry.. just in time for my bucket change.. gonna up it to around 1000 ppm.. because it seemed to take so well to 800.. if i notice burning ill just dump in some ro water to reduce it..

she seems to be doing awesome.. the PC is being a little slow but i guess its working on roots more so than anything.
