Alright the time is getting near!! I took a bud off that looked closer than any other to test out my new herb dyer i made with rubbermaid and the fans i took out of the cool tubes. I saw at Lowes that the same fan in the cool tube is the same fan in their cheapo fart fan that was rated at 50cfm, it seems that it should work ok, so i took this bud off a side branch top. its so pretty. I wish I could let them sit a week longer but at last i can not. what do you think this will dry out to, 3grams is my guess.

guessing on the size of your thumb..and the nug.... Yeha 3 grams is a fair estimate... 2.25 is my guess.... If im right do i keep it?...LOL

HBR: 16 plants avg 18-24" look like oz, oz 1/2 per plant but with this test bud ending up at 1.9g im thinking 1/2lb to 3/4lb if im lucky!

12 freaking hours to cut that shit up!! and i forgot the camera so i wont be able to get the pics up till tomarrow, sorry
well since i dont have a ppm that reads over 2000ppm i had to keep track with tsp per gal by the 5th week im up to about 6tsp per gal of pro bloom and 2 to 4 tsp of the liquid karma and sweet, i cut the cal-mag out at 4wks cause its my N in my nute mixture, as i didnt realize there was a pro veg mixture i was supposed to be using, but it dont look like i really need it, based off what i have been using so far, im going to stay with what i have for now.

smell, at what point, before or after the cutting, cause now it smells like wet grass in my grow room lol!! to tell you the truth i cant really smell it any more, but my girl says it smells like a skunk in the house hahaha, it is Island sweet skunk i tell her!!

ah i took hella pics so im only going to post some teasers here, if ya want to see the rest go look at my album

half of my crop went in a diy dryer i made with one of the fans i took off the cool tubes, but i guess i didnt take a pic of the lid with the fan in it

and the other half im hanging, then switching the bud in the dryer with the hanging

update: i switch the hanging with the dryer, so each group will get 24hrs in the dryer, then cure the whole batch for the rest of the week, my test bud dried and cured in a week, so im hoping the whole crop will as well...

i got this from that

the whole shabang!!

i made some cannabutter with some of that trim, one stick of butter 2 cups of trim cause i dont have no scale at the moment, 4hrs low simmer switched out the 2 cups of trim for a fresh 2 cups and let simmer for another 3hrs, pulled the cannabutter this morning and its so dark its darker than my kitchen countertop green, so i just baked some brownies with that cannabutter, yes i put the whole stick of cannabutter in the brownies, i hope their space cakes!! the keif from the scissors is so dank, thats all i been smoking till its gone

Im holding back my final summary till its dry, cured and weighed. I know i pulled them early so the high isnt so great, at least from all the sample buds i been smoking havent been that great, but some of these buds did look good and ripe tho but thats why im waiting to smoke at the end of the week and see whats what.

wow how tall did your iss get? did you top them or is that how they grew? mine didnt grow anything like that. mine are about 4-5feet and a couple bottom shoots but like a spear in the middle all the way up. might be cause you only used 1gal bags and i use 3gal buckets. i was just woundering. just drop me aline and let me know. thanks

Ok final weight in, 12.350z or 346grams from a triple beam. not terrible, I have some areas to dial in more i think, humidity staying constant is one, better co2 distribution, maybe add more nutes in veg. I need to work on my drying/curing within a week, buds ended up a tad bit crispy, the smaller ones at least, the larger ones have that good squeeze quality, but the mid and mid to small are a lil crispy. But hopefully I can get the 2weeks needed for drying/curing from here on, now that i can get the rent paid for a couple months in advance now! yeah! Having said all this, the ISS is on its way out now that the WW and SD are nearing readiness, i have 1 week left on the WW clones, then Im going to veg them for 2wks, then flower them to find out the sex hopefully the 8 i took off the short bushy one are female, and the 1 i took of the tall lanky one is a male and I can toss that clone at least(thinking of keeping the daddy plant in veg to cross with the SD) so by the time the l get the ISS dialed in it will be out of the mix, but im still going to work on dialing it in until then.
yea so even picking early id say im stoned, the head high for sure no couchlock although I have been eating alot of this and not smoking as much, really i think i only smoked twice yesterday, and only once so far today, an by alot i mean just one treat cause i made some potent ass cannabutter with the last of the trim!! like 8 cups to 2 sticks for 12 hrs, yea its so dark it looks like the incredible hulks poo, lol i wanted to make goodies so strong that i only needed one, next i want to make some so strong i only need one bite! but that batch will be small and limited im sure, haha, damn look at all that text i must be stoned....i will upload some pics of the butter and finished bud later 2nite, hola

oh forgot to add this but to the person that asked about the smell, oh it smells like sweet dank now, that wet grass smell is long gone! nothing to exotic just sweet dankness.
