off and rollin.. first cfl grow

right now i see a couple trichs are yellowish golden, many are cloudy and many are clear. I have started flushing but i'm in no hurry to cut her down. Shes my favorite houseplant.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of LST. If you notice, when I first planted the seed outside, it was along a fence so it started stretching out to one side to reach the sun. It was basically LSTed from the start, I just tied her down with coat hanger pieces.

fuck man i wish i was your friend so i could smoke some of that chronic weed you got there! enjoy that shit man it looks like you did a real good job on growing, now think man next week you get to start all new ones! hurray! hahaha keep us posted on your next grow

when you get that half cloudy/half amber....no clear ....then you good to smoke...hey make sure you smoke one by the pool where she all started ...

i sampled a little bit. let it rest inside a 14w 3500k cfl for about 35 minutes then 30 minutes in a glass nug jar in the fridge. samples pretty good. no flavor but decent high. its gonna be a good harvest.

Haha, I did that today and got the same results. Good buzz, but not much taste.

Sampling is good gives you a chance to see what you got, but don't keep "sampling" ......lol not much longer anyway...

1 lst(Lowstreestraning) This oNe is a reveged flowering clone (if that makes any sense) that i got from my first grow. Your plants are nice im looking to do something along the same lines. tell me if it looks about right

u used CFL's i love em and love the outcome of em they look fan fuckin tastic so many top colas

Looks good. I think it will yield a little less than an ounce but i really have no idea.

I cut about 6 branches off my plant the other day. I chose the ones that looked the most done with my pocket knife magnifying glass. I saw some amber trichs. The plant I left sitting in the sun under a skylight then i put it into the dark closet and left it there for about 20 hours. Then today I looked at one of the picked buds under a 100x lighted scope and I saw that most of the trichs are clear so I turned the lights back on my plant and I'm gonna leave whats rest on there to flower another week I suppose.

so much would you say u think you got off that plant? And What nutrients did you use? Did you feel the mollases helped out? sorry about the questions its just i saw that plant and it was exactly what ive been wantin to do. Like the LST Yours Is a Little different than mine. But Great smoke i bet huh last time i didnt lst and i got the longest stem ever with no bud on it i practically smoked NOTHING BUT HAIR but i also didnt put any nutrients. it was just miracle grow soil water 2 cfls that were around the house and lots of attention and love here ill show a pic

Yeah no sorry but that plant looks sad. You don't have enough lights on there and the ones you have only are hitting like 2 or 3 leaves on each side.

LST your plant about a week before you switch the lights to flower mode. Then as it continues to grow in flowering you can continue to tie it down. It will approximately double in size so you can choose to do it earlier in veg mode if you want to have it fill out your whole pot. Mine only filled up one side of the pot before it stopped growing in size and grew only buds.

You need to go to home depot and get these y socket bulb adapters. Get 3 of them and plug one into your existing bulb socket then plug one on each end of the adpter and then you will have 4 bulb sockets and then you can screw in 4 42w cfls and stick it on your bush that it all tied down and that will be way better than your existing setup. Then you can simply add more and make different combinations to suit your needs.

Also, I used Fox Farm Big Bloom during flowering. During veg mode I just let the miracle grow soil do the work. I also mixed 1 tbsp molasses per gallon of water every watering mixed with the big bloom every watering during flower.

Thanks and yeah she does look sad but yeahthat clone i got off of the plant from my first grow i didnt know anythang about lights but now i know what spectrums are needed for what stages but i just need to get this nutrient thing down cause im not an internet shopper and we dont have many hydro stores (last one we had was about a year ago they didnt last no business i guess) so i can get ahold of nutrients like foxfarms witch i really want to try all i have is alaska fish emulsion 5-1-1 and just got miracle grow bloom booster 15-30-15 and some grandma mollases cause i could not find blackstrap mollasses witch i heard works good just grandmas mollasses does anyone know if this stuff will still work?

"Grandmas" will work. also sometimes you have to use what you got..seeing that you only have MG 15-30-15 which you can use just give your plants half ( or less) of the recommended dosage that stuff can burn your baby so use sparely...as a matter of fact use less then half until you get a feel of what the plant can take...

i used grandmas molasses and brer rabbit molasses. is there anywhere you can buy bat guano, worm castings, and stuff like that

nice grow formula, how is those pop can reflecters working? arent they a hazard? do they create hot spots? i was thinking of using 2 pop can reflecters for the 2 smaller cfl's you see in pic, but i wasnt sure how to make it and put it on the bulbs or w/e without it being a hazard im super paranoid with the hazards cuz i live wit my mom dont need nothing going wrong in her house. The plants are 7 days old in that pic as of right now they are 10 or 11 days old my avatar is pic of the 2 plants in one cup taken earlier today. will be making a grow thread at day 14 of the grow 12/12 from seed grow. and o yea im thinkin of lsting one of the 2 plants in same cup so they have room to get bigger i will be transplanting em to a slightly bigger cup and use it to harvest since they wont get to big on me with 12/12 from seed which is good for my space atm.

I don't see how the reflectors are a hazard at all. I have them taped to the y adapters with electrical tape and they don't touch the bulbs at all. they just float in place. They're pretty easy to work with. I like them. Don't fuck up your parents house.
