what do u think would yeild more- 25 plants in 3 gallon pots or 16 plants in 5 gallon pots? same airflow, temp/hum, and wattage(1400w) in both cases... soil and organic ferts f.y.i :bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

25 plants in 3 gallon plants for sure... you may get a bit better yield per plant with a 5 gallon pot, but nowhere near the almost 50% increase you'd need to make up the fewer plants.

Hm that is a toughy...

I'd say the 25 plant theory. I'm not sure that the extra 2 gallons of soil would really make a difference in size to impact bud production enough to match an extra 10 plants..why not do 25 in 5 gallon pots? :D

I have no experience with that but if I had to guess I'd say 25 - 3gal. How long are you vegging? That could change things alot. What strain are you going to go with?
