Odor eliminators... Do they work?

I am going to be growing for the first time and in a limited space. Probably 3 to five plants. I was wondering how good the odor eliminators work as I have people living with me that I would rather not know about my new gardening adventure?

Unless you filter the air with charcoal or exhaust it somewhere outside the dwelling (should also be filtered) your home is gonna smell like weed.

in the end it's not cool risking other people's safety in such a way. Get yer own place and grow like crazy...

I used this : https://www.rollitup.org/view.php?pg=faq&cmd=article&id=290 which I found on this website.

Soil Moist, ONA, water, a bucket, and a fan...

Simple and works super good, I can barely smell the weed standing in my growroom.

The ONA I purchased is "fresh linen" scented - everyone that comes over says it smells like the dryer is running which works perfect to explain fan noise coming from behind that door. :)

Big ups to Video - this is way cheaper than a carbon filter or Ozone generator.

Not all strains are created equal when it comes to smell do yourself a favor spend the money and get a filter the peace of mind of no smell is priceless!

go down to your local hardware store and ask for rangehood filters there charcoal filers, you just have to cut the pad from them, its easily done using some tin snips... then custom fit it to you fan... mine works mint

If your in the situation that your plants can be beside or under a window, use a window fan and have it blowing outwards, open another window somwhere else in the apt/house and fresh air will be drawn in and smelly air out. That's what I'm doing now seems to work for me and cheap too!

umm...yea not a good idea, you definitely dont want to smell the neighbourhood like weed, adn in the winter its going to be visible as it billows from your house. horrible horrible idea.

LOl,true.. I don't plan to grow in the winter and Im sure the neighbours can't smell the few plants I have, I'm not doing it big time just enough smoke for me.
It also depends on where you live I guess,in the city..... probably not so good. filtering would be better.
