Odor Control with Carbon Filter and Ozone Generator

I live in an apartment with a closet grow tent. I set up a carbon filter that was doint a very good job but as the girls got older they are getting stinky, mm mm.

Well I figured for the odor I would add an ozone generator in the exhaust flow. My 190 cfm fan pulls tent air into my carbon filter inside the tent. That gets exhausted into a large rubbermaid tote that is out side of the grow tent. To help mix the air and ozone, I set cardboard baffles up inside the tote, spaced out one at top of tote with 2" space at the bottom and the next at the bottom of the tote with 2" space at the top. The ozone generator blows at the end where the exhaust enters the tote. Because of the baffles the exhaust gets mixed in with ozone (im familiar with ozones cautions as I used to use it for fire reclamation work. to deodorize the exhaust. The Girls arn't very stinky yet but I hope this will eliminate the odor, particularly at harvest and drying which because of neighbors I plan to do in the tent.

The attached is a sketch of the set up and a pic of the generator I picked up on ebay for $31.00 used. Any additional design suggestions from someone who successfully uses ozone are appreciated.

Whenever the fan is on the ozone should be on.

Important to seal it well. I had to use duct mastic on my 12" adjustable elbows, even foil tape let ozone escape.

Ozone will break down your rubbermaid making it brittle in time.

Im Venting the box out the window. I leave the fan on 24/7.

I want to be sure i dont get too much ozone build up.so if i turn the ozone on only 12 hrs when light is on (heat) that will leave 12 with no ozone or would I be better with an on cycle of say 3 hrs on 3 hrs off.

Am I overthinking this? Should I just turn it on and leave it for the week
